i using adobe acrobat reader dc v "2015 release | version 2015.020.20042" on windows 7 pc.   it has worked great forever has developed, in last couple months, annoying habit tools seem 'check out' , not work. may start working again later (after reboot, or passage of time, or due other software change?). cannot forced work again exiting program , restarting it. i can find pattern why starts nor why stops. it affects many documents (and documents same, once issue begins). not matter of me trying highlight image (rather text) - can highlighting text in long document , cannot (except 1 word)... same paragraph. it not think i'm using acrobat/pro - know reader , limitations. feature works , not others.   affected tools i've seen not anymore: hand (pan), select text (can select 1 word -by double-clicking), highlight .   i have tried "update" software , reported being date. i have uninstalled app , re-installed adobe's website - , problem still re-app...

hello, i using photoshop via cs6, under windows 10 os.   for whatever reason, right-clicked on scratch disc 1 of solid state things looks stick of ram, 256 gb, , nothing else except function scratch disc.   i shocked see not half full, holding temp folders - of them going 3 months. i want set image gif, layer. know gifs made out of layers. when use normal tools (like place) set image layer, turns normal picture instead of gif.. how make gif layer on picture, without turning normal jpg/png picture? hi!   i downloaded latest update lightroom can't install it.  when try install see error. installer never asked me admin password!   but computer , have administrator rights. i have no problems other applications , updates. example, adobe photoshop updates creative cloud.   this problme persist me long time , asking of kind because stuck old version of lighroom     thank help. uninstall lr cc via cc app, uninstall or remove creative cloud apps   then use cc app reinstall lr. i have bought adobe's font folio education essentials (2014, $150) , got new laptop. need have these fonts on new computer unable find way re download them? i noticed bug or unfortunate flaw or isn't supported yet. set layer percentage of transparency if shapes overlap in layer not make dark line in overlap , faster set layer , make shapes rather make shapes , edit transparency after making each shape.   for reason shapes don't work when going illustrator photoshop, after effects or animator. reason settings layer transparency ignored shadows come out solid colors. yet if remove transparency setting on layer , re-add shape works fine.   this not big of deal normally, have thousands of graphics transparency on layer huge amount of work try , utilize them via cc library. i think 1 feature request form: illustrator feature request/bug report form More discussions in Illustrator adobe

hi all,   this first post here in forum. have license of both acrobat x , xi pro. i have been using flatten files using action wizard. have noticed acrobat x faster xi. because in xi, displaying every page converting. can advise if preview can disabled on acrobat xi? can't seem find option of doing it. have selected folder , configured option flatten files. run action, opens every file , starts process.   in acrobat x, specify folder configure settings , runs automatically. in acrobat x, processing 5 pages per second while in acrobat xi processing 1 page per second. important when processing thousand files.   logically, newer version should better old one. your findings correct, unfortunately. acrobat x had better action wizard capability xi (and dc). one of major drawbacks in xi each file loaded , displayed on screen before processed, slowed down entire process lot. there various other issues actions in xi (for example, can't tell not process non-pdf files), recommend ...

i have problem export mp4 sounds.   i've added new layer mp3   and export mp4 using encorder.   finally, not hear sounds. something came recently. if have sound layer starts in frame 1, , it's set event, won't appear in final video. either move sound frame 2 (while adobe fix real issue), or set sync of sound stream. stream sound in frame 1 exports ok. i have large file (1.2gb - 20k+ pages) has greyed out option delete pages.   have acrobat xi standard, version 11.0.11. i have double check , file not in view mode, not in pdf/a mode, , not secured document, , protected view off.   what trying do:  file has numerous bookmarks trying maintain navigation purposes, while trying chop file more manageable portions.  if extract pages (which thing allowing me do) bookmarks lost in created file.  if retain bookmarks upon extraction, don't need answer original question.  'save as' new name , delete portion of file; go original file , repeat until i've chopped original file newly created smaller portions of it.  did "save as" , opened new saved file , again new file not permit option delete pages.    kind of working on theory file size hindering editing ability.   any ideas either delete pages in newly saved copies, or alternately extract pages while retaining bookmarks original file? ...

a simple question - can't find simple answer anywhere! please help.   i putting curved text on oval path. default, vertical type tool enters text outside oval going clockwise. want text clockwise inside oval. when drag text inside oval direct selection tool, flips text anticlockwise. how can make curved text go clockwise inside circular shape? advice appreciated. leave text on outside of circle, lower baseline setting. i've come rely on feature, it's stopped working in latest release. know option under sequence menu , it's turned on.   can help? same here. seems set same premier 2015, feature doesn't seem working.   edit: got working. make sure "toggle track targeting" video tracks working with. in, make sure v1, v2.. blocks blue in timeline window. hope helps. okay, i've added facial masks shot has been precomped, , want paste masks onto original footage layer can track face masks in mocha (using mochaimportplus).   however, when paste precomp masks onto footage mask, not match. masks way off , shrunken down. precomp lines footage layer though. precomped shot exact same size footage layer shot, blurs , skin retouch effects added. why masks getting messed up?   below precomp facial masks   and below happens when try copy/paste facial masks footage layer can track masks in mocha   well, layers same size? mask coordinates relative layer, not comp. otherwise 2 other issues: a) based on humungous size of screenshot there high-dpi screen issue (=bug) ae miscalculates coordinates or b) there wrong red footage stuff, has been plagued bugs in recent versions of ae. take pick.   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe

hi   i trying disable creative cloud application starting on logon   the reg key located at: hklm\software\wow6432node\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run   the key in there is: "c:\program files (x86)\adobe\adobe creative cloud\acc\creative cloud.exe" --showwindow=false =onosstartup=true   logic suggest changing =onosstartup value false stop application starting on login   sadly not. cannot find list of parameters check if there other value's can use disable this   deleting key entirely prevents application starting @ login if updates inject key in there again , un-doing start setting   i have tried deleting =onosstartup parameter no change still starts on login More discussions in Deployment for Creative Cloud for Team, Enterprise, & CS adobe

bridge 6.3.1.186 after effects 13.8.1.38 windows 10   i'm right-clicking on images in bridge , selecting place > after effects 13.8 pop menu. i'm getting runtime error on line 114 of script aftereffects-13.5.jsx. error message "object of type string found number, array or property needed." line in question meant concatenate string fragment onto string explicitly created earlier. in function building string represent array contain file uris.   the function containing line looks has other errors (the string it's building represent array looks have comma before elements example).   this not script i've written, bundled either bridge or after effects, i'm not sure which.   is there solution or workaround? don't use bridge much, sure helpful if worked in current workflow.   i'll try report bug too.   thanks -mike moving after effects More discussions in After Effects adobe

i bought elements 15 @ costco in , installed on mac when in canada. appears install properly, not advance past place put in serial number. number put in indeed serial number, , wonder why won't take it?? there no message or anything. you might have redemption code instead of serial number.  difference redeem code not work in application because unlikely 24 characters long.  need "exchange" code or "redeem" code proper serial number.  suggest go page , read it:   < redemption code help >   please note can install product trial start until have sorted out serial number problem.  trial version allows use 30 days without limitations go , started it.   good luck. so have 2015 imac , brand new macbook pro (2016) , have photoshop elements 11 on both of them. when click menu option window , activate info brings box shows information image. importantly suppose show me pixel size drag selection or crop around image. suppose show me cursor on image. doesn't either of these 2 things. can scroll on image , never shows pixel dimension cursor on. when i'm trying crop specific size i'm dragging crop box doesn't update pixel box size. when let go of box shows me size of box me no because have let go. takes me forever try crop or select specific size. never did on windows computer. did on imac last year. , on macbook pro. please help. do have ruler units set pixels?   go adobe photoshop elements editor>preferences>units & rulers , set rulers pixels.     in pse 11 seems 1 needs have info dialog docked rest of panels on right hand side in order readings work.     More discussions in Photoshop Elements adobe
