looking @ purchasing external drive working in ae, ps , pr on retina 2012 (2,6 - 16gb ram - 512 ssd). my work split between ae (70%), ps (20%) , pr (10%), working lot still images (animation). right now, everything's done internal, cache, footage, previews, exports. did disk speed , render test buffalo ministation 1tb usb 3.0. surprisingly (to me), took 15% longer a short sequence render compared internal ssd. isn't strange? i did render test of short sequence (40mb) , took 1 second longer   writing internal ssd. below: first speed test buffalo, second internal ssd.   i looking @ samsung t3 250gb, sandisk extreme 500 , crucial mx300 (in inateck usb 3.0 enclosure) use footage , preview , exports .   is true there stability/ heating issues when running (500gb , above) ssd on macbook usb 3.0 port?   is there single-drive-non-ssd solution can recommend situation?   does rpm play role footage, preview , export files or concern cache?   thanks lot.   More discussions in Hardware

hello all. have updated cc 2017 version , pleased find faster on mac running latest version of sierra os.   however, having 1 recurring issue: when use "synchronize remote server" button, "put" files , preview button, program check files , give me list of files synced. when press "ok" button run sync, spinning wheel , program freezes long time. sometimes, after period of @ least 10 minutes or so, sync. other times not recover , have force quit. have searched answer cannot find applies situation.   i went ftp settings , ran test , says connecting remote server fine doesn't appear connection issue.   any suggestions on how remedy this? thank in advance suggestions. update: copy of dw on macbook air not have issue appears corrupted file or setting.   i tried uninstalling dw mac , re-installing didn't help. can please help? hi. i'm writing because i'm planning on getting new laptop work. i'm not entirely sure what's happened, photoshop cc crashes within seconds of opening it. seems though illustrator cc having odd issues. after opening ai, seems though it's clicking. mouse continuously loading something. it's not adobe other programs, such indesign , audition, work fine (or issues aren't noticeable ps , ai). i've tried uninstalling , reinstalling both ps , ai no avail (albeit while saving preferences- i'm hoping keep "remove preferences" idea no-other-option move). restart of windows10 (education version) resulted no improvements. ps working last night @ 9 pm. began notice problem in ai @ around noon today (november 23). when began notice problems in ai, opened ps see going on there , met unfortunate crashes.   the thing changed within 9 pm yesterday , today, me installing filezilla , annoying add-on installed it; and, honest, i'm pretty sure installed filezilla , did work before opening ps @ 9.   the add-on came filezilla lava

i've batch exported 14 videos using media encoder , 4 of them failed. same resolution, frame rate, sample rate etc. went premiere , tried export remaining videos individually , received error saying "a low-level exception occurred in: morph cut (aevideofilter)". restarted computer , i'm still getting same error. few of other ten videos passed first export in media encoder have morph cut in them. idea problem is? using windows 7 pro, i7-4790 3.60ghz, 24gb ram, gtx 780 w/ cuda, , samsung 850 ssd. likewise, can't export clip morph cuts applied. render fine, , play fine in timeline, can't export. i'm using premiere 2017.0.1 release, osx 10.10.5. 32gb ram, mac pro.   More discussions in Premiere Pro CC adobe

hi all, i'm new (as see) i started in lightroom edited images in ps , saved llightroom, gave 5 stars did further 2 things in ps (resized fb , added watermark) thinking clever thought resave lightroom , give 3 star rating thinking retrieve 5 star in history , way cant, saved pic in lightroom shows me the 3 star rating , if hover over  shows me other 2 stars (my 5 star first save rating), understand mean , can how retrieve first saved pic??? what kind of file did start in lightroom? did message asking how wanted open it? if yes, how did answer question?   if started raw file should have opened directly in photoshop, without warning panel. when saved ps edits lr, new file have been created. happened.   when went ps second time , resized did save? if have overwritten first time edited in ps.  i'm guessing happened.   the news should still have original started in lr, , can go , work again in ps. however, don't use ps resize, , add watermark. lr export function for. google lr

hi:  using dreamweaver 2017 windows 10 , can not select files in local file panel.  can see them can not select them correctly. i'm not having problems selecting files. in windows, reset display's scaling 100% moving slider way left (recommended). anytime try open after effects cs6 opens window , fails respond, disallowing use of menus. happens when launching after effects admin. going wrong , how can fix it. 1. make sure ae version date. should 11.0.4 if doesn't work 2. make sure graphic driver date if doesn't work 3. reset preferences reset after effects preferences   if still occurs provide full os , hardware specs maybe system requirements problem. did ever work? happen right after open software or related specific project? i have decide update adobe after effects program (2015.3) (2017) still have (2015.3) of going advanced options , un-checking remove old cc's before updating before launched (2017) first time moved plugins had no error (it magic bullet suite) finish scanning plugins tittle screen disappeared icon on system tab bar (im using windows ten home) , nothing pops that's gone kept restarting it repeatedly did same thing when checked task manager did same thing showed on active went down the background programs for  couple seconds disappeared (side note 2015.3 doing same thing) have tried restarting pc , want work please help try interpunction. make question readable others. i on windows 10 bridge cc 2015 (version 6.3.1.186 x64).  had output module working on earlier version of windows cc updated latest version.  after downloading and  installing output module (and absolutely sure files in correct locations), started bridge cc 2015 , got message saying new extension has been added, when bridge opens there no output entry listed in workspace list.   i should point out, in case somehow relevant, output module download instructions specify files copied program files\common files\adobe\bridge cc extensions folder.  however, installed on pc program files\...\bridge cc 2015 extensions.  tried renaming folder eliminate "2015" name made no difference (still no output in list).   if open preferences, there output pane.  file !!-$$$adobeoutputmodule.workspace file not exist in folder \utilisateurs\user-name\appdata\roaming\adobe\bridge bridge 2015 workspaces (although there corresponding files of other workspaces).   i've seen removing file mentione
