Series of names while Cropping.

hi

     trying own action using marquee selection tool used select area of image , run action crop area , duplicates seperate image same file name copy.i want know there option save file jpeg in series of continuity numbers "1-10" own name via etsk.

 

 

for example :

 

my images have names :

784595.q0jbhnnm.bb1.jpg,

658589.u0jbhnklj.ba1.jpg.

 

my images had naming structure need duplicated separate document , naming structure center part of source file name "q0jbhnnm" , adding suffix 1-10 in file name depends upon how many select , run script.

 

(so file names q0jbhnnm.01.jpg,q0jbhnnm.02.jpg)

 

anyone me on this.

actions have hard time naming files save.  photoshop has features batch , photoshop scripting action creator can used save files manes need. imo  best option download , install plug-in image processor pro. add-on. once installed can use bridge menu tools  , photoshop menu file>automate>image processor pro... can have image processor process image files want process , save output file types need save file names want.  image processor pro can save many image file types , has flexible file naming options.  each output file need save can have image processor include simple action create customize processing done. can easily  cropping in current actions , use image processor file naming option save file names suit needs.

Extracting portions of an image

hello,   i relatively new illustrator (learning on fly if will), have below image , take red bars , isolate them rest of image (transparent wherever there not red. best/easiest way this? tried using knife , scissor tools not "locking" , allowing me separate. want retain graininess/imperfections, guess if image trace needed, have hi fi.   brandon,   as (mis)understand it, wish have red parts showing, background structure, , rid of grey parts.   presuming red parts vector artwork (paths including compound paths) @ reduced opacity (so can see background structure through it), , background structure raster image, may:   1) select red paths, not background (you may select everything, shiftclick background object deselect it), ctrl/cmd+8 (object>compound path>make); 2) ctrl/cmd+c+b; 3) shiftclick background image , ctrl/cmd+8 (object>clipping mask>make);   you may:   4) select , ctrl/cmd+g group.   this should give desired appearance, outl...

shape alpha vs layer alpha in cc library

i noticed bug or unfortunate flaw or isn't supported yet. set layer percentage of transparency if shapes overlap in layer not make dark line in overlap , faster set layer , make shapes rather make shapes , edit transparency after making each shape.   for reason shapes don't work when going illustrator photoshop, after effects or animator. reason settings layer transparency ignored shadows come out solid colors. yet if remove transparency setting on layer , re-add shape works fine.   this not big of deal normally, have thousands of graphics transparency on layer huge amount of work try , utilize them via cc library. i think 1 feature request form: illustrator feature request/bug report form More discussions in Illustrator adobe
