i used 'system mechanic' clean system.  have not been able use pse9 since.  advice? yes, reinstall photoshop elements 9.   if need pse 9 install files, can them here:   download photoshop elements versions 9, 8, 7   for future reference, careful using utilities or programs claim clean or speedup system. issues such having occur because "cleanup" removes files either needed operating system or programs. i edit audio books, popup window mix paste makes extremely slow. the usual process replace empty parts in between sentences/words clean room tone; have thousands of times per book. i have made macro "mix paste", closes window (enter) , presses play (spacebar), still quite slow. if knows solution they'd of great help thanks in advance. well, 1 thing might want try doing editing in multitrack view.  allows break track as want (without permanent changes) , if drag in short piece of room atmos need it.  if overlap clips in same track automatic crossfade.   it seemed counterintuitive @ first when started working way once got used it, work flow sped considerably. windows 10 intel i7-4790k 32gb ram geforce gtx 970   exporting time-lapse (from jpg sequence) @ 1080p ame , getting error:   error compiling movie.render error render returned error.writing exporter: h.264 writing file   i tried quite few things suggested in forums such turning off gpu acceleration, fails every time....until i rendered without cc wide time. i 2 things aurora sequence, time stretch , cc wide time. can render time stretch cc wide time errors every time.   very frustrating, have been doing same workflow years , short sequence (1min 24 secs). has changed....   currently running ae 14.0.1.5            ame build 11.0.0.131   i need cc wide time process auroras. suggestions? i'm trying revert original image after i've added various adjustments/filters in elements 13 , saved image tiff in photos.  using macbook pro.  open image in elements, go history, lost @ point. i afraid out of luck, unless backed photo prior editing it. it's worth future, might want consider using pse 13's organizer. if , click save in version set box, edited image staked on original. @ point, expanding stack, can access original version , proceed again. we creating education patients access on kindle.   when preview on desktop, videos work fine.  however, after have published project devices , save corresponding videos folder , project gets uploaded our internet site, videos won't play.  since i've never done before, use troubleshooting problem is.  resolution, encoding or other problem fixed?  appreciate assistance.  hi karen,   couple of questions. video formatted to? i have local lr 4 installed while o started use lr cc. metadatabase made lr 4 usable , ok.  used lr 4 version inadvertently add picture info database.  these additions not seen in lr cc.  how can add info lr cc database version ? hi otepaappa,   lr 4 , lr cc don't share catalogs - lightroom upgrades catalog when open newer version, creating copy of original.   if have added images lr4 catalog after lr cc catalog created, have 2 choices:   1. reimport original files lr cc , make adjustments manually (this might easiest single image or small number of images).   2. in lr4, choose image(s) want transfer lr cc. images selected, choose file > export catalog, , follow prompts. won't need include original images in this, if images going located in same folder. create new transfer catalog selected images, , include adjustments , ratings. then, in lr cc, choose file > import catalog..., , choose transfer catalog created.   mike More discussions in Lightroom Classic CC for Begi

hello, i have captivate 8 course (a short 4-minute software demo) i'm testing on our lms. course works expected in ie , firefox through our lms. when tested final html5 file outside of lms, works in chrome. however, when launch course in chrome lms, not work should. here's happens: on each slide set continue next without stopping, course pauses. clicking next button in playbar allows course continue.   update: after testing on chrome more, 1 button not work on last slide in chrome, though work on ie , firefox.   has seen or had issues this? lms vendor has said *not* issue on end, must on course/authoring side. thank you! kate   ps: i'm testing in current latest version of chrome: version 54.0.2840.99 m   message edited by: kate lawless adobe captivate , ideas on what's causing happen? rodward or lilybiri or maybe captiv8r have ideas? helpful , knowledgeable! hello, i updated cc software 2017 versions.  before this, have been having problems high cpu usage due adobe cep html engine running in background.  tried adobe fix here: high cpu usage due cephtmlengine , helped temporarily.  thought update fix issue.   since i've updated, programs running slower before.  illustrator, photoshop , indesign open, there @ least 10 15 instances of adobe cep html engine running in background seen in task manager.  has been problem within last couple of months.  there fix this?   thank you. moving illustrator More discussions in Illustrator adobe

using lr cc updated on macbook pro running sierra 10.12.1, 2.4ghz i5 8gb ram.   started export of 67 photos taken variety of cameras , scanned ones mixture of raw, tiff , jpgs have editing done.   monitoring disk activity find has written 6mb in 3 , half hours on ssd  internal drive has 50gb free space.   this can't right! doing daft? rather doubt quite experienced lr user.   what shall do?   do abandon project? should first export images jpgs create new cat those?   sensible answers appreciated. so have illustration done drawing , convert more realistic looking.   the diagram uses bare tree, know can created clicking filter > render > tree problem trees created have many branches.   is there way control number of branches on tree, or eliminate some, without having go through tedious task of erasing of them? that tree seems perfect task @ hand, , no can't change how many branches there via render > tree. why not scan tree in , trace in photoshop (or illustrator)? can add text in. hallo, ich habe folgendes problem: mit eos d6 schwarz-weiß aufnahmen gemacht. teilweise mit rot- bzw. blaufilter als experiment. wird in der kamera auch in s/w angezeigt. lade ich die fotos über camera-raw, werden sie sofort in farbe angezeigt. natürlich dem filter entsprechend in rot oder blau. importauswahl in lr zeigt s/w-bilder. nach dem import sind sie in farbe. kann ich mir doch gleich das fotografieren in s/w sparen - ich aber nicht. freue mich über jede erklärung und hilfe.   danke hanfbach the black-and-white settings in-camera settings camera raw not read. camera raw reads raw image data , automatically converts color image. if want black-and-white images straight camera need shoot jpeg images. otherwise, can convert them black , white using camera raw.
