i'm having trouble embedding videos interactive pdf. using indesign cc , in media panel, don't see option make video play more once when export it. of now, when export presentation, video plays once if go page, cannot play it. know doing wrong??   please help! i see in indesign media panel states next loop (except pdf). loop publish online , fixed layout epub, formats might not suit requirements.   More discussions in InDesign adobe

help! new cc2017 exporting premiere cc2017 encoder. arrives in queue ok when try render yellow warning triangle. i happily exporting without problems until upgrade. exact same project in cc2015 exporting fine yesterday. error comes saying had problem. any 1 else experiencing this? project in question has sugar fx subtitles if makes difference. currently using direct export method (without encoder , seems working through it.) if create copy of project , remove sugar fx subtitles work? give solid go on. so decided i'd give publish online try (having been workshop on various digital publishing options available) , disappointed find doesn't work on system.  after click publish online, goes through upload process , shows me screen button says "view document" , url "copy" button next it.  view document link not work, , copy link doesn't work.  tried manually typing link, doesn't work either (possibly because window may have cut off of link couldn't read type of it).   any idea why wouldn't work on system?  i'm using indesign cc 2015.  got new computer running windows 10.  i've never tried publish online before, don't know it.   thanks, phyllis okay, got answer elsewhere on this.  if else runs issue:  after click out of "view document" box, go under "files > published" , can open published-online file there (it opens in browser can copy url).  no idea why main dialog box doesn't work, workaround works fine

is there way determine current user @ runtime?   i have many people using scripts daily , i'm working on building logging , error reporting api can build detailed log files and  accurately identify source of errors. part of this, want determine user running script can log information inside log entry.   we're running macs here, need works on osx. i'm reading contents of /users/ folder (with folder.getfiles()) find user's name, i'm hoping find little more reliable. can guarantee each user has folder in /users/ folder name on it. however, /users/ folder contains other files , can contain multiple users (for example, have 'will.dowling' folder , 'admin' folder).   i weed out of known undesirable names (.localized, ds store, etc) still leave myself open possibility creates unexpected file or directory in there.   tldr; is there in adobe illustrator api allows me accurately read unique information user can attach username log file?   thanks in advance. =)

hi, i've started using text variables. i've followed directions (go type>text variables>insert variable) no matter variable try insert, word equation appears before variable. ex. if insert page number , i'm looking @ page 5, appear on page equation 5.   i've tried editing variables , there's nothing in text before box. i've tried insert text, in case needed text before variable. however, when that, word equation still appears, before text before. ex. chapter number. if enter prefix ch. , chapter's 3, variable turns out "equation ch. 3."   what doing wrong? i unable reproduce latest build.  can please tell specific version of indd , operating system? hallo   i startet premiere project version 2015 @ mac pro. --- basis of project in avid. it got exported premiere me , worked long time in premiere on project.   now had change computer. i'm working on new pc , startet project cc 2017 version   and there got error mxf-files @ reconection. the shots taken sony cam. and @ adobe support chat adobe-worker said, work on project version of 2015 build it,   but still same error. when open @ mac ok, can not continue work on it, because new co-worker gots mac.   so problem of divers mxf? or premiere @ windows? or regarding avid? do need download special codec?   i renamed folder before reconcetion, loaded avid codecs 2.3.7 , tried in pp 2015 (where worked @ before) and not pp 2017. two things happened when tried use indesign today (cs6, win10, been using version several years). when indesign opens message windows security saying: indesign.exe the server www.automatication.com asking user name , password. server reports restricted. warning: user name , password sent using basic authentication on connection isn't secure. if think 'hmm, looks dodgy' , cancel, when go indesign can no longer click , drag on page. other people have put posts latter problem, , suggested solution delete preferences. i've done that, made no difference, can still move things using arrows, not cursor. is message i'm getting adobe, or malicious. it seems odd can't find mention anywhere of having same problem. i may unusual, i'm sure i'm not unique. i've received same message morning when opening cs6 in windows 7 More discussions in InDesign adobe

i've noticed in recent work when zoom out using [crtl + -] zooms previous screen size/placement , not zoom out (relative center).  there way revert cs cc2015 shortcut? i think figured out... if object(s) is/are selected, zoom in/out based of selected items being center of zoom, whereas in previous versions, selected items not considered when zoom in/out , center zoom center of page (a preferred option me).  workaround, need take step of deselect objects (click off page) before shortcut keying zoom in/out etc. More discussions in Illustrator adobe

hi all,   just finished installing new setup (new macbook pro, sans touchbar is) cc products use. everything works smooth ae, ps, pp, when opening fuse, there 3 options: freezes @ choosing head, freezes @ choosing body, or doesn't freeze, textures go black grey spots here , there. i'll try more screenshots when happens again. also not fuse crashes, whole system, nothing responds anymore @ all, option hard reset pushing power button until goes down, painful when handling new machine. know, it's basic laptop, never had problems running on basic imac has half power , memory...   any ideas? reinstalled couple of times, want work. also: when think it's going out of "preview" mode? did updates can find... set lowest possible settings...   thank in advance!   willem     update: here screenshots of weird thing happening textures...     message edited by: willem corten hm, looks might graphics or memory issue screenshot.  i'd try updating driver intel integrated

using lr cc 2015.7  on macbook pro laptop - candidate photos import on main  1tb ssd drive in single large folder many sub-folders. when designate 1 of sub-folders imported start getting types of documents other place on drive - not photos. don't recognize them. why happen? several other sub-folders - each many sub-folders - imported perfectly. please post screen shot of seeing. there option in import dialog include subfolder. maybe should uncheck option , test. i have been using ppro since cs6.  have been titling movies since 2014.  tried add titles project started morning ppro 2017 (i.e., brand new project).  created title.  decided wanted change leading 0.0 10.0.  cannot seem change apply.  have title selected in project window.  have titles workflow window selected.  select text box , shows leading off (gray, not blue) , has value of 0.0.  when change 10.0, nothing happens.  similarly, when change leading 0.0 10.0 in title styles window right (the title properties dialog box in other workflow contexts), again, nothing happens.   i changed leading of different title in same project successfully, cannot seem change further.   and tried gather more data might happening, ppro crashed , sent report off apple.  first cc 2017 bug! hallo,   mein problem: ich habe einen footage-clip mit automatischem weißabgleich gefilmt. die farben variieren stark, sind z. b. gesichter kurzzeitig viel zu gelb. teilweise (nicht durchgängig) sind auch papierblätter zu sehen, denen man den unterschied sieht.   meine fragen euch: wie kann ich das mit premiere pro, speedgrade etc. (beide cc, aktuelle version) "rausrechnen" lassen? hier wäre eine schritt-für-schritt-anleitung womöglich hilfreich, weil ich noch nie mit speedgrade gearbeitet habe. manuell schritt für schritt würde ich nur ungern arbeiten, weil das ergebnis nie eine saubere automatik hinkommen wird. aktuell kann ich keine projekte speedgrade via direct link übergeben (die schaltfläche in premiere pro ist verschwunden) oder in speedgrade öffnen. beide sind aktuell (pre cc 2017, sg cc 2015). wie komm ich trotzdem ans ziel?   herzlichen dank bereits im voraus für eure aufschlussreichen antworten schöne grüße   ps: ich habe diese frage ähnlich bereits gestellt, aber

ok have upgraded cs5.5 cc     i had created file in indesign cc , exported normal. when opened file in adobe acrobat showing lots of white lines on pdf file. spotted on forum if go preferences in acrobat / page display , untick smooth line , smoth images lines disappear.     but when open file in photoshop cc, create jpeg white lines on image show in image.     i opened file in old cs5.5 photoshop , lines not show up?
