i have been using lightroom 5.7.1 on year. upgrade cc2015 today lightroom presets gone.   checked "c:\users\ahw\appdata\roaming\adobe\lightroom" (window users), users presets empty already. how can own presets , use them again? lot!!! check preferences dialog see if have "store presets catalog" option turned on. when did upgrade, lr5 catalog migrated new lr6 catalog, might have left presets behind. i admit new illustrator me, not illustrator. not computer savvy, manage play photoshop , make many composite images think there hope!   i using macbook pro laptop os x el capitan 10.11.6   i started illustrator cc 2017 subscription , trying 1) create custom feather brush , 2) save custom brush can used future projects.   my first issues began when creating brush, program kept locking eg. spinning wheel, not responding commands, swearing, screaming, etc...   i did restart computer (a few times), same thing happened. managed make brush , tried many ways brush 1 of brush libraries, pain, finally, successful in getting new brush appear in 1 of brush panels, after leaving document , going new document brush found.   so, might doing causing program lock up?   how save custom brush appears in brush library?   thanks help! libraries ai files. you need open library want brush appear in , add brush brush panel in file.   if want brush appear in new files, add new document profile use.   but si

hallo, vor zwei tagen saß ich in meiner vorlesung (humanmedizin) mit meinem ipad und lud die aktuellen vorlesungsfolien herunter, sortierte sie in der adobe-reader-app in die richtigen ordner und löschte ein dokument, das ich nicht benötigte. beim löschen dieses dokumentes (löschen durch "nach links schieben", sodass das kleine rote "löschen" rechten rand erscheint) hängte sich das ipad auf und kurz darauf schloss sich die app von selbst. als ich sie erneut öffnete war der ordner mit meinen vorlesungsfolien diesen semesters verschwunden. ich bin mir ziemlich sicher, dass ich nicht aus versehen den ganzen ordner gelöscht habe. zudem steckt in diesen dokumenten ziemlich viel (nicht ersetzbare) arbeit, durch ergänzungen während den vorlesungen selbst und aus büchern. da ich dieses semester allerdings zum ersten mal mit dem ipad arbeite, habe ich leider auch nicht daran gedacht, eine sicherung vorzunehmen oder die dokumente anderweitig gespeichert. auch kommt dazu, dass

my colleague , using same gotham otf files, yet when creates file , uses open, despite having same files active on machine, error. when highlight text in indd file, name show (t1) in character panel, odd, given opentype font.   i have absolutely no idea how fix this. i've cleaned font caches through suitcase, i've dumped .plist nad adobefnt.lst files , restarted. nothing ever allows exact same font files load , makes sharing files need share work impossible.   any ideas? could there type 1 font on machine along otf? i'd try packaging file , see fonts collected. there residual info in file cleared out save-as, or trip through idml. i'd try first. , when file co-worker , has stray font, turns out assigned space or return. can find find font in type menu. i'm trying import set of images catalog on laptop master catalog on desktop. laptop lr folder hierarchy copies on correctly (at least 1 folder not recreated in destination lr catalog). many lr destination folders populated correctly source images. however, many lr destination folders contain subset of source images. images copied or not copied destination catalog appears random. missing image previews captured in "failed copy" catalog on desktop catalog. inspecting destination folders finder shows missing images physically absent , not artifact of lr misreporting.   does have ideas or suggestions how solve problem.   i using lr 6.7 on both laptop , desktop , both macs. photo images, previews , catalog in same top-level folder on laptop. are sure these images present in expected location on laptop?
