lr 2015.7 continually directs "open smart object in ps" command wrong ps. i dont see change thing direct correct ps.  additional external editor serves such purpose, except cant direct smart object open there.   a "wrong ps" must mean have multiple versions of ps installed. (do need more one?) check link- "edit in photoshop" command missing   it making os point correct version (or correct location) of photoshop. for macs means recreating plist file. for windows requires edit registry file. i looked around @ bunch of old threads psd size bloat , didn't clear answer.   if open 2.6mb jpeg in photoshop cc , save psd no changes, 26mb psd. is normal , expected? seems bit...much.   (of course application little more complicated, not much. opened jpeg, masked 2 areas , applied adjustment layers. wanted save psd save workflow, information in mattered mask regions , adjustment layer settings.)   of course photoshop should not storing raster data lossy compression in general case, it's easy see why file size same saving lossless-compressed tiff. on other hand, lossless jpeg2000 of same file 6 mb.   but guess expect jpeg opened in ps no changes background layer preserve data in jpeg format file-size reasons, at least until or unless user did transformation on layer require changing jpeg data.   so, what's deal? , why psd compression worse lossless jpeg2000 compression?   thanks!   p.s.: don't think matters much, image is jpeg 4032x3024 4032x3024+0+0 8-bit srgb 2.381m

hi, new after effects , awesome. have started doing intense lyric videos rock , metal music need way organize words parts of songs chorus, verse, etc. i've watched few videos precomping see groups them 1 layer, merging in photoshop not want. in main timeline can edit keys each single word. when precomp though in 1 comp , doesn't editable on main timeline. want few words grouped have ability still edit keys, movement, effects, etc. sorry if didn't explain enough. comfortable photoshop , if after effect had groups or folders amazing. thanks hi mate,      can jump precomp , edit animation there. if need copy of same precomp, go in project panel, duplicate , drag timeline need it. second precomp independent first one. you might find useful have audio reference track animation in precomps too. i've been looking @ how tracking , puppet eye movements synced.   having took many photos , video of myself pulling faces, there 1 thing noticed time, either eyes wonky, or tracking dot off!?     often... found puppet's left eye, did not perform right eye. looking @ above image assume due tracking dot misaligned!?   would possible provide option click on pupil tracking dot , reset manually? for now, no. tracking dots never going 100% perfect, although of time seem in ballpark of you're going for. closer , more lit are, better should be.   and again, highly suggest doing mouse eye gaze adjustment if you're working on recorded piece - find have more precise control way. hey guys,   i'm little confused on this. have found blogs , posts online indicating possible install acrobat xi , dc on same system. others indicate not. 1 post saw had screenshots indicating option *not* uninstall xi when installing dc , others indicating message @ install-time saying older versions of acrobat uninstalled.   i did test installing dc 2015-020-20039 on install of acrobat 11.0.18 , 11 uninstalled no indication whatsoever 11 removed.   there forum post indicating solution may have been found no explanation:   acrobat dc install alongwith acrobat 11   here's adobe post indicating 2 can coexist:   using acrobat x, xi, , dc on same machine   can please clarify if @ possible install both on same windows (e.g. win 7 x64) system or whether dc install can prevented removing xi?   thanks. moving discussion installing, updating, & subscribing acrobat forum. currently using cc2017 on windows 10. i have opened prelude project created on mac on windows workstation. as expected media re-linking message. when locate missing file, intelligent liking doesn't link other files in project. have go through file @ time re-link.   i have premier project created on same mac using subclips sent form prelude project. when open project on pc opens , finds clips etc, no error messages.   so there issue in prelude media path locations etc   so carried on working through relinking files , seems if select example 10 files, hit -th re-link media button, choose first file name pl asks in dialogue window, click select. pl links first 2 files in selection coreectly ignores rest of selected files!     any thoughts? hi russel tait,   sorry issue. i confirm there problem relinking media workflow.   we surely it.   customer feedback important us. keep writing in case of confusion.   thanks, mayjain More discussions in Adobe Prelude adobe

i've tested 3 or 4 different ways , i've tried outputting different project files. here's deal... , i'm curious if else has had issue new mac book pro.   first off, i have updated cc software. i have late 2016 brand new mac book pro, os software date. 16gb ram, solid state drive 1tb, 2.9 ghz i7,   i'm working sony fs7 footage. when try output 4k, or 2k prores, prores lt or proreshq file, starts encode clip 3-4 minutes , crazy pink, pixelated frozen death screen takes on whole screen (image attached).   i have no option @ point other shut computer off , reboot because nothing responds , screen starts flashing.   i'm crossing fingers either mac update or creative cloud update helps solve issue.   computer shuts down while using gpu intensive applications   may help More discussions in Premiere Pro CC adobe

mac osをアップグレードし「os x el capitan」にして問題なく印刷できていました。スキャンからpcへの画像取り込みを試みたところパソコンとの接続不可のエラーが出て取り込めず、scanの削除・再インストールを行っ たところ、プリントドライバの削除時すべて（adobe pdfだったか？）削除したのが原因かどうか、cs４イラストレーターがまともに開かなくなり開いたところで固まってしまいます。スキャナの取り込みはできるようになりましたが、印刷は出来 ない状態です。かんじんの印刷機能が使えず、印刷対象のデータも開けず困っています。 cs4はmac osx el capitanの動作対象外です。 osをアップグレードすることで動作していたのかもしれませんが、再インストールした結果、動作しなくなったものと推測されます。   対処方法としては、お持ちのcs4の動作バージョンにosのバージョンを落とすか、新規にccを契約することが必要です。 Illustratorコミュニティフォーラム (Japan) でのその他のディスカッション adobe

i working on 1 of larger projects (i put 6 hours today, small i'm not designer trade). finish project, signed off superiors, save .psd on desktop cataloged later. go mail finalized product , it's big on our internal mail servers open .psd (layers still there), flatten it, , save .pdf (i don't save .psd @ @ point). close ps , right in world. superior calls me 2 hours later , asks me tweek positioning on couple things , sure. open .psd , it's flattened! history empty , can't undo.   what happened? never resaved .psd! ! there way fix without 6 hours of work? either way there way stop happening again (over writing .psd when save .pdf)? is document still open?  if still open try going to:   window >> history   then see if can delete action of "flattening" of layers.   if file close don't know how resurrect history.   good luck anyway. i have been using ade few years now.  recently, got new computer runs windows 10.  downloaded newest version of ade 4.5.1 , have been using without issues several months. week started freezing time tried transfer book kobo reader.  rebooted computer.   tried again.  same results.  uninstalled 4.5.2 , reinstalled reboot.  same issue.  uninstalled 4.5.2.  installed 3.0 (issues again, more authorization).  uninstalled.  waited few days.  reinstalled 4.5.2.  same issue.  freezes when try transfer file over.   have ideas or suggestions?  thanks.
