hello,   i have issue printing adobe documents 2012 r2 remote desktop / terminal server environment. various makes , models of printers affected - typically error message follows:     the issue occurs adobe reader dc adobe acrobat xi pro. both adobe products running latest versions , server updated windows updates.   so far have tried: adobe program repair via programs , features print image work around syntax scan & fix (asking user try now, awaiting response) updating print drivers changing print processor winprint deleting acrobat preferences folder restarting print queue / spooler service   so far none of troubleshooting has been helpful , issue persists.   can provide additional troubleshooting steps issue? i have customer exact same problem, able resolve this? insight appreciated. i have agfa selectset avantra 25 imagesetter. connected windows 2000 machine via scsi. win2k machine our rip station. rip station networked. rip station communicates imagesetter perfectly. rip software (eaglerip) makes imagesetter available shared printer.   previously, had windows xp machine used work station. xp machine on network, , used imagestter on network. used print dialog illustrator or photoshop, , art output imagesetter.   the windows xp machine can't keep anymore. can see, machine put in when cs5 still current, , struggles that.   so got new machine. windows 7 64b, 32g of ram, nice little machine.   the trouble cannot add rip station's shared printer - imagesetter. new hardware naught if can't output art!   i have tried add printer wizard, local port, \\ripstation\sharedprinter, , else can find on internet, , these forums. believe trouble don't have driver. whomever preceded me apparently did not take trouble retain this. reading win7 being 64bit isn't h

hello helpful indesign experts,   i've copy-pasted text first page identical header on second page, , looks different.   both pages headers simple blue rectangle of same size , color.    both pages text same size font, both regular (aka not bold) same spacing, etc.   on second page, words appear more faint, though first page's text bold.    on third page, goes normal again.    what cause of this, , how can correct 3 pages' headers same?   thank much! any form of transparency on page cause text bolder on screen , in low-res print output. i work on team and, lately, files have been disappearing our creative cloud. none of them files intentionally delete , there's getting many accident. we've tried uninstalling dropbox (we heard if it's running on computer cause similar). boss chatting adobe (and still trying figure out solution) , gave long series of steps involves making sure there's nothing remotely connected adobe running, restarting, , logging back-in. bit problems topped. today, returned worse ever. several folders (and consequently months of work) moved trash without touching them. when in process of dragging them out of trash restore them, saw file in drive disappear. 1 moment there. next, without me selecting or running cursor on it, gone. ideas how fix this?     update: since neither adobe nor on team can figure out why happening, we've dropped creative cloud no longer problem. leaving here in case else having same problem or answer turns up.   message edited by: janelle rettig More discu

i'm sorry if isn't appropriate forum, couldn't think of better one. i'm hoping might have clue problem is.   i have 4k photo-jpeg clips i've created (with after effects cc, if matters), , i've been trying figure out why can't play them smoothly on computer. @ best play @ 15fps; @ worst (different video players) stutter crazy, , audio choppy (on & off seconds @ time).   i'm running win 10 64-bit, , when using task manager's performance monitoring, can't see anything being utilized much: cpu: 31% max, 29% memory: 19% disk: 53% max, 0% (file playing ssd) gpu load: varies 16% - 41%, gpu memory controller load: varies 9% - 28%   these figures when using win 10 "movies & tv" app. haven't examined resource utilization when running other players, none of other players i've tried (vlc, windows media player, mpc, potplayer) plays these clips better.   my hardware decent, 6700k cpu (skylake), 32gb ram, win 10 on separate ssd sourc

i upgraded , added second gpu.  after doing getting major lag in ae , premier.  renders taking lot longer.    running windows 10 64 bit 64gb ram i7-5930k 3.5ghz overclocked 4.0 2 nvidia 980ti gpu - same exact models   i use creative cloud 2017, 2015.5 & 2014 , have tested of them.  same issue.  laggy & slow render both 4k , 1080p video.   any amazing! i moved dreamweaver cs6 new pc.  downloaded adobe site.    windows version.   buttons missing properties panel.   if lower part of panel missing.   i did suggested on forum, no difference i.e. :   undock properties panel. moved screen. double clicking on blank area of panel no result. cleared out cache file.   i wonder if related issue discussed elsewhere?  have higher definition screen, dreamweaver menu bar , other text tiny.   suggestions welcomed please. dw not hi-dpi aware.  , cs6 legacy software never updated support it.   in win10, go start screen , type display settings.   in system settings,  move scaling slider 100% (recommended). under advanced settings, may need adjust screen resolution downward.     nancy More discussions in Dreamweaver support forum adobe

using lightroom 5 or lightroom cc getting poor quality exported pictures nikon d500, when other cameras, d800e, d3s, d3, export quality.  using same export settings camera, jpeg, 300dpi, quality 90%, long edge 3216, srgb.  images d800e, d3s, d3, appear expected, while d500 (lightroom 5 or cc , acr 9.7) have degraded quality looks compressed additional noise.   this appears lr issue, not camera, because processing photoshop 6 or photoshop cc works fine. can show screen capture of before vs after export? hi,   just wondering if had fixes blurry indesign on retina?  upgraded retina pro , although illustrator , photoshop have updated, indesign still blurry.    i realise adobe pushing new pay monthly, struggling illustrator has payed out enormous amounts twice (once cs3, once cs6) software feel should provide sort of upgrade make cs6 useable, retina out when bought cs6.    many thanks,   ali indesign cs6 has reached end of life , never updated.   illy , ps engineered differently , adobe able update retina display. indesign required ground re-write accomplished creative cloud.   if this issue you're having new mac consider fortunate many haven't been able run @ on el capitan or sierra. in captivate 9 i've created matching knowledge check slide in i'd learner have go earlier slide if fail after first attempt. have set number of attempts 1, in 'last attempt' action selected 'jump slide' , have specified slide learner directed to. however, nothing seems happen. i've tried putting in failure message, when user either presses 'y' or clicks on screen, failure message disappears , no further action can taken.   is there else need when learner fails knowledge check directed slide? thank you. that appropriate work flow. how did test? try preview in browser (f12) or preview html in browser (f11). kc slides automatically reset when leave slide. perhaps have real quiz in course well?
