hello   i have couple of related issues.   when pause syncing lightroom mobile doesn't stop, though says has.  if check in task manager lightroom still uploading.  way sort pause sync, restart lightroom.   additionally, , more problematic.  if select collection sync change mind seems continue sync items anyway before 'un-syncing'.  accidently selected folder 650 images sync though unchecked again continued sync 650 items!  live in rural area less 1mb upload speed - took ages , internet unusable during time!  tried deleting collection online, didn't either.   if knows way round please let me know!   thanks hi mrcolobus,   you may try , reset lightroom preferences default , check if helps. preference file , other file locations | lightroom cc , 6   let know if helps. regards, mohit More discussions in Lightroom Classic CC adobe

i created training video captivate.  i tried preview it.  it preview each "slide" versus playing whole video.  i tried publishing video view in html or ie.   started ok, kept stopping @ each "slide".  i'm not sure "slide" thing is, want video play through without stopping. sounds unfamiliar way captivate works.   you seem have created slide-by-slide simulation, , there may interactive object on timeline pausing playback @ intervals.  check timeline , click boxes or buttons.  either 1 may configured pause timeline.   if wanted simulation video, should recapture simulation using video demo option. this weird problem i've run sporadically years, across 2 jobs , numerous versions of photoshop , after effects.   the gist- after effects imports psd file composition contents of psd file of earlier version saved file.   the details- create layered photoshop file. while refining file has undergone several iterations, different numbers of layers, different groups of layers. file has been saved multiple times during process overwriting existing file.   finally when file approved of messy layers cleaned up, merged, or condensed leave tight , efficient file import after effects.   the problem when file imported after effects not condensed version rather older messy version layers , groups. it's after effects has accessed legacy version of file.   of course i've checked , double checked obvious possible user errors , there 1 file on hard drive, i’m not confusing 2 different saved files.   the fact photoshop loads 1 version while after effects loads older, outdated version. i'

i know why lightroom slow on computer when other programs, including photoshop, run quickly.   it hangs , freezes when doing simple things such scrolling through library (no matter how small catalog is), , it's worse when working in develop module. simple things moving photo photo take ages , making adjustments lags lot, when using local adjustments. spot removal tool 1 of worst, mouse jitters on place making frustrating use.   i have no idea causing this, have tried disabling gpu acceleration, tried different catalog sizes, tried using new user account on computer, overclocked cpu , has done little improve performance. i've tried using catalog on ssd , made no noticeable difference.   here details of system taken lightroom: lightroom version: cc 2015.7 [ 1090788 ] license: creative cloud operating system: windows 10 version: 10.0 application architecture: x64 system architecture: x64 logical processor count: 6 processor speed: 4.3 ghz built-in memory: 16284.4 mb real memory av

i'm trying find balance between quality , file size on video files in ogv format mp4 format. sending ae (i've tried outputting intermediate file no change) on test clip , applying different render settings in encoder.   when keeping other settings same (frame size, cbr/vbr, audio settings....) , changing onl y data rate, encoder creating identical sized (and quality)  file. since same source, data rate not changing or file size.   this happening both ogv (theora) renders , h.264 mp4 renders. "expected file size" changes, once file created creates file size matches original settings. if change frame size data rate changes, want consistent frame size, test different data rates. i've reinstalled app on desktop, , attempted same process on laptop same results. what missing? i using hebrew-english version of id 2017 on windows 10. setup default adobe world ready single line composer, other defaults set english , left right text other styles used hebrew. working fine except pages panel.   first of all, master pages shown aligned in panel right left -- not big deal, sign of not right.   pages show correctly, left right, if try move page dragging it, won't move correct position. if try drag page 1 between pages 2 & 3, jumps page 1. if try move, page 12 between pages 16 , 17, jumps after page 17.   this seems kind of right left setting/issue, i've checked story direction left right , else can think of. tried changing top layer regular adobe composer , didn't matter. big problem need sort large files using page panel.   any thoughts appreciated. some information add might help: i opened file (in id 2017) had been created in id 2015 , masters in page palette correct, left right , had no problem dragging page right position. i'm sure setting

i noticed change in lightroom behavior on windows desktop 2 days ago. both lr , ps seem operate normally, lr clicking other app did not work.  had either minimize lr or show desktop before access other apps.   this morning, 11-19-2016, problem seems have cleared restart; more serious 1 has replaced it. can no longer access creative cloud . clicking on desktop, taskbar, or start menu creative cloud produces no reaction.    thinking may have missed important update, tried clicking on updates in both lr , ps, got no reaction.  usually, adobe indicate whether or not there updates available.  i'd check updates on creative cloud, not functioning me.  perhaps there's tie-in there.   i haven't made recent downloads of new apps or updates; unsure problem lies.  adobe, windows, google chrome, or isp?   is else experiencing problem?   thanks. my app working find , had no trouble checking updates.   you can either leave enough alone or, uninstall cc, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative

i have updated audition cc2017, , trying change bitrate on file when being exported mp3. taking 2hrours 43 min audio recording. doing wrong? or way is?   i have been exporting mp3 no problems before extremely quick. haven't changed bitrate before trying save space podcast.     thanks help   walt it shouldn't different. thing can changing bit rates if starting existing mp3, it's going take longer time anyway, has decoded , re-encoded, results in significant quality loss. not long it's taking on machine. , if say, have changed save rate using master file, shouldn't taking long @ all. what's time duration of file trying save? hi   struggling hard no luck right now. i had created couple of layers, som keyframes , som tweens , audio track (don't know if makes difference) but wanted push created work number of frames ahead - far good, not issue when did got number of empty frames - spanning beginning frame pushed existing frames... i thought i'd have insert new keyframes on first , last frame in newly insterted span... but when create first fram keyframe , insert content, same last... intermediate frames remain empty - i'd expect frames same after first keyframe until next keyframe change take place (had done changes in last keyframe of course)   what doing wrong here? i have tried entering online photography competition find if successful need original image 1 not dng. because can not prove if dng has been edited. there way prove has not been edited, missing something? or creak without paddle. if talking lightroom (are you?) there's no such thing edited dng, pixels in image portion of file remain when captured camera. lr can add edits file text, these easy identify, , original pixels still there unchanged.   but if believe dng can edited, can other original image. can go file binary editor , change piece of information want, if choose so.   you not creek without paddle, dealing people aren't making sense. hello first post forum, sorry if has been covered somewhere else...   is possible use external controller vary clip speed in real time via knob or slider? here's i'm trying do...   i have sequence of clips shot out front of moving vehicle starting , stopping. trying smoothly alter speed of clips looks vehicle moving @ constant speed. instead of clicking , minutely adjusting key frames i'd able play sequence , use external controller vary playback speed in real time. ideally after effects able record controller input can go , tweak needed before rendering out final video. know mean?   does know of product work after effects allow me this? or maybe work premiere (i post forum)? or software? or way achieve result i'm aiming for?   thanks help! not possible. ae can play clips in realtime (if @ all), using native framerate , select formats nor there way create time-remapping keyframes on fly. it's inherent limitation of process - in order show modified result, ae needs

everything working (dreamweaver cc), 'simplify' things on computer, moved of my dreamweaver files , folders internal hard drive (e:) external, partitioned, hard drive (k:).  dreamweaver program files still on c:.  dreamweaver loads fine.  files k drive load fine , i've had success saving changes quickly.  seems, though, after while, or @ least after saving css file, things slow down 'nearly stopped' pace;  in fact, '... not responding' messages atop dialog boxes.  eventually, k drive begins spin , bing-bang files saved , normal until try save again.   are there settings need change in dreamweaver, or in individual site files fix this?  there files still on c: drive causing issues?  ideas out there?   thanks. my guess external drive goes sleep causes problems.  personally, don't use dw external drives.  in experience, works better files on primary hard drive, same dw.   if need backups (and does), can copy site folder external drive separately.  that&#
