hi all,   i looking creative cloud subscription , student technically entitled student subscription @ point. worry in t&c's student says can verify student status @ time , if find not eligible suspend account!! made me stop in tracks before proceeding because graduate partway through annual subscription , hence student status end, meaning if check verify student status if not eligable when started subscription!   does know if randomly verify student status midway through subscription? or re-verify when subscription renewal?   any advice appreciated,   lize does know if randomly verify student status midway through subscription? i'm not aware of adobe ever doing that. don't have resources spy on , suspect don't have inclination either. want enjoy software , re-new. wording written lawyers adobe cover themselves. never heard of being practically enforced unless there's huge scam going on.   eligibility student subscription checked when sign on renewal. not mid-w

there many problems in delivering mlearning - form factors, productivity, bandwidth, security, ide issues etc. which 1 problem being solved captivate? my own guess produces single set of output files supposed work across variety of devices.   but personally, question how effective is, given different reports of not working or not working or why feature not work in html5. in own view, it's bit of pipe dream.   cheers... rick More discussions in Adobe Captivate adobe

pse 15 not add nas directory "watch folders".  imported entire contents catalog (no issues @ all) wanted set "watch folder" on whole nas directory structure , pse 15 not it.   steps duplicate: bring "watch folders" window , click add, navigate mapped drive photos stored , click directory, click okay, i'm brought "watch folders" window directory isn't added entry!   if add folder on c: drive on usb drive physically connected system, there no issue @ all.  it's nas directories.   i have tried many, many times including getting in , out of pse 15, rebooting pc, etc.  nothing has affect.   very, frustrating. that's second time see request (i believe last time pse14). don't use nas myself , don't see reason to, believe it's 'by design'. there no support nas adobe in elements: pse 15: nas support so, wiser forget watched folders nas, , use files files or folders method periodically: issue "watch folders"

i have adobe acrobat 9 pro , every time try , use it, adobe prompts me dialog box stating need enter serial number. that, it's accepted, prompted upgrade.   cannot afford buy new version, , frankly feel shouldn't have to, because bought , want use version.   able continue using version, , how? well, it's quite old version, not compatible current operating systems (anything beyond windows 7, example), should still run if install on older machine. can disable updater under edit - preferences - updates, , might cause pesky notifications stop. is there way go old new document window?   the new window absolutely useless slow not register keyboard enter key create new document.   how used be: - take screenshot in windows - go photoshop , press ctrl + n , enter - paste   now if try same thing, stuck on new document window not register enter key in time. , not accept enter key @ all, instead have use mouse press "create" button.   i don't understand how adobe can make photoshop slower use on every update. agreed! when copying , pasting elements web design (for example) regularly create new document, paste in graphic element, save out.   i might need repeat process dozens of times, additional waiting time 'new' new document window appear/animate in  (with 'templates' i'll never use!) tiresome.   please can have 'instant' old version of new document window back!!! the pen tool in illustrator , photoshop identical, illustrator's has major shortcoming photoshop's not. in photoshop, can click endpoint of curved, deselected path , continue curve, because control handles left intact. in illustrator, clicking on endpoint of path results in corner. there is, knowledge, absolutely no way continue curved path in illustrator without redragging out control handles , thereby changing them. in photoshop, if curved, deselected path ends in smooth anchor point, , want change corner when resume path, can option-clicking anchor point. illustrator should work way, too. if click, hold down , drag, able continue curve. cpu: intel core i76700k 4.20ghz, 8mb, cache, quad core processor (91w) (unlocked) memory: 64gb (4 x 16gb) , pc417000, 2133mhz ddr4 sodimm gpu: gtx 1080 storage: 1tb ssd   i'm rendering 4k clip , i'm using 15 gb of 64 gb of ram , approximately 70% of cpu. tips on how use more of resources sitting around? i've gone preferences , allocated but, 8gb of ram premiere within software. missing? are using 1 drive everything?   while that's pretty rig bottlenecks of data streams ever concern.at least 2 ssds might better one.   not guarantee ... potentially issue.   neil More discussions in Premiere Pro CC adobe

'find' menu creates selection lets browse missing files visually , more conveniently spot expected location of files stored in catalog ('location' in top 'general' info section).   the 'reconnect all' menu starts reconnecting process after showing list of missing files; may less info
