Changed content in SVG keeping restored to previous copy

hi everyone,

 

i wonder if has met weird issue when saving ai document svg "preserve illustrator editing capabilities" option selected". no matter how change editiable text in svg file, using text or xml editor, content of changed svg file restored previous copy. if not clear, please check out sample files following onedrive link:

the file liles:

1. test.ai: original ai file, box of text reading “one liberty ..."

2. 2016-11-19 (4).png: "save svg" dialog box.

3. test.svg: saved svg file per above dialog.

3. test.one_to_two.svg: above svg file, “one liberty ..." changed "two liberty ...". if open in svg viewer/editor or web browser, see sure “twoliberty ...". whe open in illustrator, still shows “one liberty ..."!

 

this iseue never happens svg file exported "preserve illustrator editing capabilities" option deselected, need option in order keep layout deformed otherwise.

 

any idea appreciate?

completely normal behaviour.

 

when saving "illustrator editing capabilities" save 2 files in one: svg , ai file. illustrator uses ai file further edits. svg editor edits svg part. illustrator doesn't see edits when reopen svg.
