Is it possible to lock layer selection colour (e.g. so it's always cyan)?

i change layer selection colour bright cyan find random colours illustrator assigns blend objects i'm drawing, whereas bright cyan visible against colours.

 

it helpful if there function set default layer selection colour, don't have change every time create layer.

 

does know of way this?

i don't see option in preferences, make new document, change layer color cyan, , save template save .ait file. when want new file, go file > new template... , select template.
