Automatic Numbering of All New Text

hi everyone,

 

i accidentally set document new text box automatically applies numbering if i'm making list, , can't figure out how undo setting. understand how undo numbering of individual text box, i'd not have keep doing every time create new text box. ideas?

you have set default text formatting document include list type of number set (or, have set when no documents open, , applies documents). deselect text frames. click type tool. go control panel menu (far right) > bullets & numbering , turn list type none.

 

or, have based paragraph style on basic paragraph style, , style has bullets & numbering set list type of numbers. change none.
