Upgrade from Lightroom 6 to CC Lightroom

i trying update lightroom lightroom 6 lightroom cc.  signed cc user when tries update , install cc lr (2015) installs 50% , stops.  un-installed cc installer, rebooted mac pc , re-installed cc.  un-installed lightroom 6 , re-installed - nothing seems work.  need on ??  please.

first try uninstalling lr 6 (and everythihng cc) via desktop app, uninstall or remove creative cloud apps

if fails, use adobe uninstaller in lr 6 directory.

uninstall cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

clean computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

restart computer (don't skip this)

reinstall cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud using compatibility mode (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb456979.aspx?f=255&mspperror=-2147217396)

use desktop app install cc programs/trials
