Getting Raw into PSE8 from Nikon 750

i have been semi-professional photographer many years , using jpegs weddings etc., @ least try raw, first time trying learn landscape photography.  use pse8 (but have several other later versions).

 

i wish pictures organizer, not load, showing 'error'.  @ present have on 90,000 pictures in organizer, , wish keep there, if possible.

 

could please give idiots guide, step step, idiot me?  if possible, able use editor?  presently shooting in raw , fine jpeg.

  • raw files unique , specific every camera model
  • adobe issues periodical updates camera raw keep different raw file formats each new camera
  • different versions of camera raw compatible different versions of pse
  • the nikon d750 first supported in camera raw 8.7 compatible elements 13 , later
  • you'll never able open d750 raw files in elements 8. so, if have elements 13 or later, use that
  • otherwise, you'll have use free adobe dng converter, batch convert d750 raw files dng format edit dng files in pse8.

shape alpha vs layer alpha in cc library

i noticed bug or unfortunate flaw or isn't supported yet. set layer percentage of transparency if shapes overlap in layer not make dark line in overlap , faster set layer , make shapes rather make shapes , edit transparency after making each shape.   for reason shapes don't work when going illustrator photoshop, after effects or animator. reason settings layer transparency ignored shadows come out solid colors. yet if remove transparency setting on layer , re-add shape works fine.   this not big of deal normally, have thousands of graphics transparency on layer huge amount of work try , utilize them via cc library. i think 1 feature request form: illustrator feature request/bug report form More discussions in Illustrator adobe

Photoshop CC 2017 - Ruler Tool - Error 8007...

hello,   just after installed latest version , update (cc 2017), used ruler tool when clicked on [straighten layer], photoshop said "could not transform because initial bounding rectangle empty."   so, clicked on [ok] button , then...photoshop said: "error... error 8007:user cancelled operation line:222 ->     layerref.rotate( angle * 180.0 / math.pi );"   here screenshot: https://s22.postimg.org/rttfh7mwf/photoshop_error8007.png   i don't think kind of error users me, developers. so yes, apparently...there error in script, guys...         p.s : update (cc 2017) is a real disaster on windows 10 professional 64bits because after update, couldn't open, create file or open document anymore! when tried close photoshop, illustrator or program, still running in background weird reason! (task manager) i stuck , couldn't work clients!!! so, needed uninstall , reinstall everything from scratch , including creative cloud! hell goi...
