after updating premiere today, can no longer import audio tracks videos attempt import(all of know have audio on them). see a1 on left of other tracks, not see it. there v1. when right click try , "assign source a1", there no option given. tried faq says clean media folders, did not work. haven't had issues until after latest update. there known audio problems latest update has caused? sorry turns out didn't clean media folders enough. assumed clicking "clean" in preferences "clean media cache files" directed in faq, did not. had go folder directly , manually delete files. it's bit odd "clean" option in preferences section if doesn't purge files. nevertheless, audio issue fixed now. i have hundreds of vector-based pdf files exported archicad need batch convert svg using illustrator. problem there number of shapes draftsman has included in special layer in archicad not coming through illustrator.   when open pdf files in acrobat , turn on layers panel, can see various layers archicad including 1 containing special shapes. when open pdf file in illustrator (latest version 2017), 1 layer called "layer 1" objects in it. why doesn't illustrator display layers acrobat able do?   i need able rid of damn clipping masks come pdf files. programmatically identify closed shapes when inside clipping mask, our routines can't find them.   thanks in advance.   paul paul,   is paste remembers layers ticked in layers palette flyout in new receiving document?   do use file>place? hi all, here's setup: cp 9.0.2.437 project has 4 slides, each same image on (could use image master slide well).  slide 2 contains youtube widget, slide 4 contains digital clock widget.   publish swf , view = no issue publish html5 , view = issue   the issue that, when slide 2 or 4 starts, whole thing flashes briefly. visible disappears half-second. so, there not smooth continuity between slides 1 , 2 or between 3 , 4.  in actual project, have 5 slides out of 20 use youtube widget - great except each of these 5 slides flash off , on start.   i've tried sorts of things try , work around it, nothing change has impact. run locally vs online , via scorm.cloud.  i've talked customer support issue, claim unable reproduce problem. so, advice or ideas appreciated!   thanks!   [feel free download the test .cptx i'm using] i did find workaround think work: master slide objects flicker during project...   it's not ideal because means can't take advan...

2 days ago updated cc.  since then, roto brush in ae has been working improperly.  in layer panel, can't view whole image i'm working on, is, can see selected areas against black, magenta or red background, not against original background.  obviously, can't work way.  second thing that, since update, menu in ae not working, that's minor issue compared roto brush.  oh, uninstalled , reinstalled program, , nothing changed.  appreciated. nobody can tell without proper system info or other technical details comp settings, footage used etc. codec issue totalyl unrelated rb or issue new preview functions. start checking preferences , viewer settings , turn off gpu acceleration test.   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe

i create vector art in illustrator, , link in photoshop add detailed shading, have them both running @ same time, uses lot of ram. i running early-2014 11" macbook air. has 4gb of ram, 256gb of ssd (with 100 allocated bootcamp partition), intel hd graphics 5000, , 1.4 ghz intel core i5. 20 gb free on laptop's internal hard drive @ given time. have 2tb external usb 3.0 hard drive 800gb free reallocated.     if make partition on external  hard drive illustrator use scratch disk, reasonable size it? and best make 1 combined scratch disk both photoshop , illustrator use @ same time or 1 per program?   here example of last thing made reference. (this after shaded in photoshop. basic coloring , line art done in illustrator.) might make larger scenes more characters , objects in future, though.
