Mac to PC - best hardware to choose

my 2008 mac pro has come end of it's service life, , i'm not buying mac again- various reasons. have 2 questions - forgive me asking numpty questions... haven't bought pc 15+ years , i'm bit out of practice. have been given conflicting advice specs ae/pr use effectively. big ssd (or two) given in configuration - main questions are:

1.

does have solid advice ideal pc workstation ae/pr workflow?

i.e., 6700k i7 sufficient, or should go single/dual xeon e5v4? should prioritise more cores, or more clock speed?

(i know it's more complicated that, getting bottom of appreciated).

2.

i've used consumer gpus coprocessors, has worked fine until now. should buy quadro card? benefit, on drivers? 1080 going buy enough, or titan x better? need stop being cheap , m4000/5000?

any , appreciated. feels weird moving windows, it's not there aren't quality workstations choose from. thinking lenovo p910.

ae doesn't have decent mutltithreading, not in new versions, single-core speed , peak performance favorable on multiple cores doing nothing. corexi processor way go. graphics hardware doesn't matter. ae supports few cards natively begin with, 3d raytracer declared dead , media encoder doesn't work reliably many cards. , i'm not talking quadros here. can buy 80 dolalr card budget tray , makes no difference whatsoever regards ae. in many words: ae + gpu acceleration = epic fail (yes, in cc 2017). if @ all, such decision should based on specific third-party plug-ins may using magic bullet looks ofr genarts sapphire benefit better gpu. still, them quadro or titan makes no sense @ all.
