Flattening a sequence in multi-cam necessary?

i interested in learning more multi-cam.

 

i’ve learned make multi cam clips , edit them. clip icon has equal bars in it.

 

after did multi cam camera selections file in assets same name, shows icon of varied bars.

 

i have seen people refer flattening sequence once done selecting camera angles. i’ve not done that.

 

i drag main timeline , can edit blank space out need to.  cannot change camera selections.

 

i able export videos youtube want them to.

 

should flattening multi cam clip/sequence?

flattening multicam more making easier lay on b-roll, titles & graphics, color-correction, sort of thing. if it's not issue you, ... issue?
