Select color and affect it independently

hi there. i'm new challenge , looking help..

 

what i'd select orange in image , affect independently hands, , hands independently background. end effect goal blur orange lightly hide make smears. color correct hands slightly.  not sure if can make blemishes out res of screencap.

well, can't tell screenshot if orange has grain, actually, if blur solid color, won't matter. won't smoother!

this makes process of blurring skin lot easier. color correction, instead of trying key out hands, key out orange. it's chromakey orange. makes alpha matte copy above hands.
