PDF layers not showing in Illustrator

i have hundreds of vector-based pdf files exported archicad need batch convert svg using illustrator. problem there number of shapes draftsman has included in special layer in archicad not coming through illustrator.

 

when open pdf files in acrobat , turn on layers panel, can see various layers archicad including 1 containing special shapes. when open pdf file in illustrator (latest version 2017), 1 layer called "layer 1" objects in it. why doesn't illustrator display layers acrobat able do?

 

i need able rid of damn clipping masks come pdf files. programmatically identify closed shapes when inside clipping mask, our routines can't find them.

Adobe InDesign CC 2017 has stopped working

after installing indesign cc 2017 first time, when try launch application error "adobe indesign cc 2017 has stopped working" i have tried following: uninstalling , reinstalling indesign deleting files c:\users\<user>\appdata\roaming\adobe\indesign , c:\users\<user>\appdata\local\adobe\indesign i've uninstalled (i think) fonts had downloaded , installed restarted computer many times signed out of creative cloud , signed in   i able install , run on different computer i'm assuming there sort of conflict or missing component on computer.   computer details: processor intel core i7-4770k ram 16 gb os windows 10 pro ver. 1607 build: 14393.447 video card nvidia geforce gtx 970     this error windows event logs: faulting application name: indesign.exe, version: 12.0.0.81, time stamp: 0x57f545c7 faulting module name: appframework.rpln, version: 12.0.0.81, time stamp: 0x57f547eb exception code: 0xc0000005 fault offset: 0x000000000009fa88 faulting process id: 0xcac...
