Creative Cloud Budget Breaking for Solo Entrepreneur

i sure no 1 cares there @ adobe's upper management, wanted post complain creative cloud's subscription model , cost.

 

i sure have heard before when adobe switched cloud-subscription model, independent artist trying run own business , use full creative suite. @ $600 year budget braking , financial hardship on business. used buy upgrade , able use 2-3 years. having computer problems , forced upgrade os, appears need new cc adobe apps run right too. current cyber monday sale, helps 1 year, , still expensive. upgrades aren't worth upgrading to, features not such great enhancements me. understand development work expensive, but...being graphic design programs on market, feel really, stuck , screwed financially subscription model. business can grow fast keep these additional costs.

 

i have been adobe user 25 years...and cost more manageable in past doing upgrade. so...i writing ask think of small business people , artists use more expensive full cc. , how pricing better big corporate...i guess how our capitalist society working anyway , grow event more exclusionary....big business matters , small business fall waist side.

 

if suggestions alternative applications photoshop, indesign , illustrator, i'd love hear them!

you need provide package has ps, ai, id, br (for example). sure there many people don't need 10+ applications provide.

Adobe InDesign CC 2017 has stopped working

after installing indesign cc 2017 first time, when try launch application error "adobe indesign cc 2017 has stopped working" i have tried following: uninstalling , reinstalling indesign deleting files c:\users\<user>\appdata\roaming\adobe\indesign , c:\users\<user>\appdata\local\adobe\indesign i've uninstalled (i think) fonts had downloaded , installed restarted computer many times signed out of creative cloud , signed in   i able install , run on different computer i'm assuming there sort of conflict or missing component on computer.   computer details: processor intel core i7-4770k ram 16 gb os windows 10 pro ver. 1607 build: 14393.447 video card nvidia geforce gtx 970     this error windows event logs: faulting application name: indesign.exe, version: 12.0.0.81, time stamp: 0x57f545c7 faulting module name: appframework.rpln, version: 12.0.0.81, time stamp: 0x57f547eb exception code: 0xc0000005 fault offset: 0x000000000009fa88 faulting process id: 0xcac...

PDFMaker Office COM Addin will not stay enabled

windows 10 ent 64-bit, acrobat xi pro (11.0.18), office 2013. user reported loss of "save pdf" functionality in word. checked com addins , "adobe pdfmaker office com addin" unchecked. checked it, closed word, re-opened word, found unchecked again. ran word local administrator , box remained checked (or unchecked) across numerous changes in state & restarts. per numerous pages i've tried following:   applied latest updates & ran repair installs on office & acrobat confirmed hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\office\word\addins\pdfmaker.officeaddin loadbehavior set 3 checked file system permissions on pdfmaker directory. found them lacking added domain users read permission. run regsvr32 re-register relevant dll's removed & re-added com addin as noted, not issue if user local admin. thoughts on how enabled addin persist after closing word? thanks hi sherpa,   it seems loadbehaviour of addin has been altered in hkey_current_user hive , enab...
