Issues Upgrading from RH11 to RH2015

what best process upgrading rh11 rh15 ensure backwards compatibility our existing projects?

 

we upgraded rh11 rh15 office 2016 compatibility, had number of problems existing projects. downgraded rh11 encountering other problems.

first off, there no "backwards compatibility in robohelp product. once project has been touched new version, there no turning back. heck, believe point versions behave way.

 

one possible way achieve in roundabout way generate chm of given project. chm file, able decompile , of need back. "most", because not things conditional build tags, snippets , master pages.

Adobe InDesign CC 2017 has stopped working

after installing indesign cc 2017 first time, when try launch application error "adobe indesign cc 2017 has stopped working" i have tried following: uninstalling , reinstalling indesign deleting files c:\users\<user>\appdata\roaming\adobe\indesign , c:\users\<user>\appdata\local\adobe\indesign i've uninstalled (i think) fonts had downloaded , installed restarted computer many times signed out of creative cloud , signed in   i able install , run on different computer i'm assuming there sort of conflict or missing component on computer.   computer details: processor intel core i7-4770k ram 16 gb os windows 10 pro ver. 1607 build: 14393.447 video card nvidia geforce gtx 970     this error windows event logs: faulting application name: indesign.exe, version: 12.0.0.81, time stamp: 0x57f545c7 faulting module name: appframework.rpln, version: 12.0.0.81, time stamp: 0x57f547eb exception code: 0xc0000005 fault offset: 0x000000000009fa88 faulting process id: 0xcac...
