update the folder content in the project panel

hey,

 

wenn import folder , keep on making changes imported footage (photoshop,pp,illus)

and save tis footage existing folder in after effects footage has imported.

 

isn´t there way tell folder should update?

 

some kind of synchronizing such folders new ?

 

it handy if need changes original material too.

 

i know can "replace" footage, if not replace of existing not existing footage.

 

i can´t find script related issue, thinking: 1 have this

feature?

 

i come avid editing system , did day there .... kind of astonished can't find

any solution .....

what version of ae using? of cc, synchronization happens automatically. if change ps or ai files (changing original layers content, not adding new layers) ae refresh automatically. adding new files folder means need import them ae. can force ae refresh file (and layers) highlighting file , using "edit original" shortcut ctrl+e/cmd+e

 

if experiancing different, please specific , describe exact steps taking. screenshots helpful too.
