ADE 4.5.2 freezes when trying to transfer an epub to my kobo

i have been using ade few years now.  recently, got new computer runs windows 10.  downloaded newest version of ade 4.5.1 , have been using without issues several months. week started freezing time tried transfer book kobo reader.  rebooted computer.   tried again.  same results.  uninstalled 4.5.2 , reinstalled reboot.  same issue.  uninstalled 4.5.2.  installed 3.0 (issues again, more authorization).  uninstalled.  waited few days.  reinstalled 4.5.2.  same issue.  freezes when try transfer file over.   have ideas or suggestions?  thanks.

Adobe InDesign CC 2017 has stopped working

after installing indesign cc 2017 first time, when try launch application error "adobe indesign cc 2017 has stopped working" i have tried following: uninstalling , reinstalling indesign deleting files c:\users\<user>\appdata\roaming\adobe\indesign , c:\users\<user>\appdata\local\adobe\indesign i've uninstalled (i think) fonts had downloaded , installed restarted computer many times signed out of creative cloud , signed in   i able install , run on different computer i'm assuming there sort of conflict or missing component on computer.   computer details: processor intel core i7-4770k ram 16 gb os windows 10 pro ver. 1607 build: 14393.447 video card nvidia geforce gtx 970     this error windows event logs: faulting application name: indesign.exe, version: 12.0.0.81, time stamp: 0x57f545c7 faulting module name: appframework.rpln, version: 12.0.0.81, time stamp: 0x57f547eb exception code: 0xc0000005 fault offset: 0x000000000009fa88 faulting process id: 0xcac...
