hello - building computer (first time building own).  use lightroom, not professionally.  have done ton of research learn building own machine (i've spent few hours per week couple of months reading on it).  have built parts list feeling pretty about, wanted put out there comment.  use machine editing photos in lightroom, spreadsheets, web browsing, , scripting languages.  lightroom intensive task do. not game.   additionally, looking recommendation 27" monitor has color accuracy.  work in srgb color spaceand have no plans move adobe rgb anytime soon.  ips looks way go , open specific make/model suggestions.  reviews out there based on gaming makes little tough narrow playing field.   is there glaring missing? am overspending on 1 component? looks missed fun in absence in last few days - dw cc2017 released. my, my, despite beta testing sounds of disaster. the new photoshop , dreamweaver 'helps' have added 20% onto development time.  i've been trying turn off things meant 'help' me (help neither need nor wanted) still have not been able little boxes out of way can work done. frustrating. reminds me project did design person wanted 20 different bells , whistles on each area of interface , kept saying, "no, needs simpler not more complicated people". company spent load of money , scrapped it.  think people significance out of reinventing wheel because can point contributed bigger question should "what people want , how work?" i had issues dreamweaver cc 2017 , cc 2015 versions running side side, decided uninstall adobe apps including creative cloud , start fresh. big mistake both dreamweaver cc 2016 , fireworks cs6 have disappeared previews versions section of creative cloud.   i want install dreamweaver cc 2015 , fireworks cs6 when got apps > previous versions neither of these apps/versions there. dreamweaver cc 2017 available not cc 2015 version> need sorted asap if has clue? is paid subscription or trial subscription ?   windows or mac ? switched on sony vegas cut feature film. there's lot premiere well, there few features i'm really missing: the major 1 having ability return play head started. in both vegas , avid, hitting spacebar plays; hitting again returns play head was. seems basic (and critical) feature. really miss ability keep waveforms visible while dragging. premiere's method of graying them out while dragging makes positioning audio (music, sfx, dialogue editing, etc.) real pain. the vegas method of creating , manipulating transitions better in every way. more precise, , infinitely easier create audio transitions in way want. you should able re-arrange tracks. in vegas, if want re-position 1 track above another, click header , drag.   off top of head, that's short wish list. else? you need file feature request in order adobe read/file whishes. am missing something, can't see way make preset encodes @ half resolution regardless of source resolution. i have massive number of clips need @ half , @ quarter res , they're different sizes. doing manually insane. it'll quicker in after effects because @ least can script teh setup there.   any ideas ? currently, ame allows matching source full resolution. to file feature request feature request/bug report form since mention scripting, might want check out premiere pro scripting. 'encodefile' method. if created number of different presets different resolutions matching possible fractional resolution in output can use encodefile drive ame via panel in premiere pro. i had creative cloud desktop suite tell me updates ready majority of apps.   due small hard drive (boot drive)  had previous versions installed in separate drive (x:) had set in preferences section of creative cloud desktop app   when began installing updates noticed boot drive (c:) beginning fill up. stopped install , made sure settings in creative cloud desktop app hadn't changed. - hadn't, still set x:/adobe.   i continued update apps , have full boot drive , feeling wish hadn't bothered upgrade!   is others have had problems or me.   my computer running windows 7 professional 64 bit. have 3 internal disc drives. hi j_matrix_68,   as have mentioned installed previous versions of these apps on different location successfully, time installing in boot drive though have different drive selected in preferences, recommend uninstall apps , make location changes in creative cloud desktop app after reboot machine , install apps again , should install on ne...

hi guys, i appreciate help/advise on following problem. using lr mobile on ipad , lr on desktop. time time when travelling import few raw files directly ipad can start adjustments , sync desktop. issue having have built new desktop have 2 disks, ssd windows , apps , hdd data. have installed lr on ssd yet want create catalogue, import photos , stuff on hdd. once opened lr let sync ipad without paying notice setting. onced in synced 250 photos found out created nonsense folder on ssd disk in mobile.downloads.lrdata folder name consists of numbers , letters. love shift on hdd disk option of creating smooth catalogue organized capture date when import straight camera. later found in preferences there option choose mobile lr choose specific location store lr mobile images chose hdd , ticked use subfolders, don´t know how force lr transfer said want have it. should do? easiest way out of mess without loosing adjustments made pictures in ipad. don´t mind reinstalling lr on desktop ...

until have been printing accurate colour prints on epson 3800 using pc running photoshop cs2.   when pc died upgraded photoshop cc 2015 , have been running on macbook uses yosemite 10.10.5 operating system. instantly colour prints epson wrong - colours consistently colder , way out.  calibrate monitor i1pro , use epson printer profiles there no guesswork involved. have checked using latest printer driver , have checked epson working correctly on mac.   interestingly if print old files mac created on pc photoshop cs2 perfect colour prints. if take new file created on mac cc 2015 , print pc same poor colour rendition. so, seems happening colour of files when edited in cc 2015 using mac - can't figure out. don't know if mac or cc2015 or combination. please can solve problem. have installed latest update version 2015.5.1? there a, mac only,  color printing issue resolved update   dave More discussions in Photoshop adobe

hi,   i have used small number of waves plugins time, , have worked previous versions of adobe audition , adobe audition cc. however, aa cc 2017 has crashed several times afternoon when trying apply effects rack.   the message popped was:   "adobe audition cc 2017.0 has stopped working   a problem caused program stop working correctly. windows close program , notify solution available."   the 'apply' process gets 99% stops working described in pop-up error message.   does have ideas why problem might have started occur, if so, need do?   regards,   alan i have used izotope plugins adobe audition cc without problems. after latest update haven't been able open earlier made projects, same message alan did , audition crashes.   after research found problem izotope ozone 5 mastering tool. audition cc doesn't work @ more, crashes immidiately every time try use ozone 5 it. cannot call improvement , stop using audition if problem not fixed.   ...

i'm doing "drone" shot in miniature set.  set included models placed on green screen, , intent have practical set photoshop matte painting elements.  eventually, decided drop practical elements, keep camera tracking data.  so, basically, have "real" camera move through 100% virtual set.   the whole thing looks great, except last couple of seconds.  need ever-s-slightly nudge camera it's pointing need point.  however, camera tacking data locked (in red) , can't manipulate values.   i can manipulate timing of keyframes, , i've done tweak camera's speed.  there seems no way control facing, however.   i redo camera move null object, lose "hand help" feel love much.   i'd appreciate thoughts! why not parent camera null , keyframe in desired places? can set null @ focal distance of camera before parent camera if need control poi of camera. hi all,   i have spent past week searching every nook , cranny of internet try , find solution issue , i've had it. thereseems lot of information on issue , many people experience it, there no bonafide solutions (at least knowledge). not technically "spec savvy" individual give background on editing on using new 5k display 27" mac. no installed graphics card or bells , whistles , not using pal monitor color.   my issue after export video premiere, whether h.264 or prores or format matter getting noticeable color shift on final video. when export quicktime and/or directly vimeo.   i have noticed interesting things while investigating this. instance if take exported quicktime sequence , bring in premiere regain same color consistency original premiere file. have noticed if play file using vlc rather quicktime have original quality saw in premiere. issue quicktime , since upload videos vimeo quicktime thats issue. tried uploading sequence directly vimeo premiere using h...

hi i have photoshop elements 14 on windows 10 64 bit system. replaced ssd drive new ssd drive. new ssd drive c old g. made mistake see of not transferring photos drive g c. computer store mirrored drive. elements not recognize new drive c. if want copy/move pictures g new drive c not see c drive. when select photoshop elemnts 14 copy/move option new drive c not visible old drives. have uninstalled elements 14 , installed again no change. understand there serial number involved affecting success. new pictures still going g drive them.   how can correct this? mirror drives supposed backup drives , not able install on wondering if using correct terminology here.   to answer question regarding installation, need perform custom installation , need pay careful attention on screen can change drive letter when installing.  make sure have serial number handy required.  if don't have handy login account on adobe website , see if serial number listed there.   good luck. ...

i'm having issue indesign cannot fathom. apologise if blazingly obvious, don't use indesign full time , i'm self-taught.   i seem having issues colours on files. files should same either copies of original file, use same template or package, happening files , blue looking, , printing, more turquoise.   i created file design roller banner our business @ recent roadshow. when happy packaged files send printers. when printed colour not expected. blue more turquoise , not @ expected.   so, reviewed computer first rather blame printer (which first point people try make). this, noticed on recent files preview colours off , blue horrific turquoise. yet had made no changes other name of file. however, when open files same; i'd never have noticed when working on them. in file preview top line, files 1, 3 , 6 correct colour.   originally thinking packaging file @ fault tried save file new name ' file> save as', , same issue occurring. can see file previews attempts @ w...

i know others have had similar problem, there hasn't been defined answer have seen works. i trying publish 10 page document. has couple of videos, have continually scaled down file/quality of. reaches 98 or 99% of uploading process before receive error message.   i have used feature in indesign larger audio/video files without problems @ last company. don't want remove videos when know have had success in past other documents. i downloaded creative cloud 2015 class taking , have been downloading applications need them. first few weeks worked fine - downloaded ps , ai without hitch.   however, desktop app no longer gives me option new applications, 'update available' screen offers 'bug fixes , experience enhancements' won't install. gets 100% , quits. app disappears desktop.   i can't install new creative cloud because says other still running, when try access current application, says it's 'not open anymore.'   if try uninstaller, says there applications on computer still require - assume 2 i've downloaded, if try uninstall those, brings desktop app wants install 'bug fixes'.   i tried downloading creative cloud uninstaller, tells me 'unable uninstall creative cloud desktop busy."   during these experiments, there no clear evidence in task manager or activity monitor adobe running.   downloading individual applications links in support section gave me ...

hey. so i'm having issue @ work starting drive me pretty nuts. sometimes, still can't triggers it, feels pretty random. illustrator refuses show correct tool icon - , makes tools behave incorrect. lets use pen tool, instead of showing pen (or "x" prefer use) it's small hand of frustration, , doesn't highlight paths or show "+ -" when hovering on them. , applies tools. sometimes shows tool icon little bit , goes hand. here example of arrow selected, acting small hand... when tilt head toward shoulder eyes, nose, , mouth move out of bounds of face. different when pupils move outside of bounds.   i have 2 characters, 1 works other doesn't, guess missed minor step somewhere. this making stuff independent - adding + in ps/ai or crown icon in ch - when don't need to. in puppet panel if see crowns next stuff left/right eye, nose, mouth, face background - try removing them. plusses/crowns need pupils, eyebrows, , top character group.   if doesn't work, feel free post or dm me exported .puppet file , can take closer look. this has bothered me while.  when selecting text in indesign smart guides enabled, selection snap more coarse invisible grid, makes text selection cumbersome.  solution @ moment disable smart guides, rather able keep them enabled on projects.   is there workaround or solution this?  cannot find magic checkboxes in preferences... os? version of indesign?   i can't i've seen difference in text selection smart guides enabled. hi - i'm having issue video after exporting youtube using a  fv4 file. video has black borders , can't seem fix issue post production. after reviewing project in premiere elements realized first video imported project assets had qt codec without 16:9 ratio. locked presets , changed format subsequent videos in project assets. majority of footage used came gopro, of file compressed down different aspect ratio instead of using dsr (1920 x 1080).   since put lot of time (months) making project there anyway to: 1) change aspect ratio files match 16:9? (interpret footage doesn't seem work)  2) copy clips new project can start new editing preset , correct aspect ratio?   sorry, if i'm not entirely clear. i'm learning video editing on fly. i'm editing in premiere elements 12 on mac. please let me know if additional information needed.   thanks,   ak More discussions in Premiere Elements adobe
