Cannot Install New Applications

i downloaded creative cloud 2015 class taking , have been downloading applications need them. first few weeks worked fine - downloaded ps , ai without hitch.

 

however, desktop app no longer gives me option new applications, 'update available' screen offers 'bug fixes , experience enhancements' won't install. gets 100% , quits. app disappears desktop.

 

i can't install new creative cloud because says other still running, when try access current application, says it's 'not open anymore.'

 

if try uninstaller, says there applications on computer still require - assume 2 i've downloaded, if try uninstall those, brings desktop app wants install 'bug fixes'.

 

i tried downloading creative cloud uninstaller, tells me 'unable uninstall creative cloud desktop busy."

 

during these experiments, there no clear evidence in task manager or activity monitor adobe running.

 

downloading individual applications links in support section gave me same error message downloading desktop cc app.

 

i still need download dreamweaver , animate, @ minimum.

i have mac os 10.11.

try below steps

 

click in finder , open applications > utilities.

trash adobe application manager , adobe creative cloud folders utilities.

 

click on finder , hold command + shift + g keys on keypad

it open go folder window, type  /library , click on go.

then open application support > adobe

trash adobe application manger, adobe desktop common , oobe folders.

then restart computer , run creative cloud installer. ( make sure start, otherwise may receive installer running message)
