Illustrator changes all of my tools to a small hand instead (Mac OS)

hey.
so i'm having issue @ work starting drive me pretty nuts. sometimes, still can't triggers it, feels pretty random. illustrator refuses show correct tool icon - , makes tools behave incorrect. lets use pen tool, instead of showing pen (or "x" prefer use) it's small hand of frustration, , doesn't highlight paths or show "+ -" when hovering on them. , applies tools.
sometimes shows tool icon little bit , goes hand.

has else experienced this, maybe solved it?
would appreciate help, thanks

 

edit: i'm running latest version of macos, same illustrator 2017 (had same issue in previous build)
taking screenshot had barely programs running in program , couldn't see wonky progresses in activity monitor.

does latest version of mac os mean 10.12? did reinstall adobe apps after updating os?

Adobe InDesign CC 2017 has stopped working

after installing indesign cc 2017 first time, when try launch application error "adobe indesign cc 2017 has stopped working" i have tried following: uninstalling , reinstalling indesign deleting files c:\users\<user>\appdata\roaming\adobe\indesign , c:\users\<user>\appdata\local\adobe\indesign i've uninstalled (i think) fonts had downloaded , installed restarted computer many times signed out of creative cloud , signed in   i able install , run on different computer i'm assuming there sort of conflict or missing component on computer.   computer details: processor intel core i7-4770k ram 16 gb os windows 10 pro ver. 1607 build: 14393.447 video card nvidia geforce gtx 970     this error windows event logs: faulting application name: indesign.exe, version: 12.0.0.81, time stamp: 0x57f545c7 faulting module name: appframework.rpln, version: 12.0.0.81, time stamp: 0x57f547eb exception code: 0xc0000005 fault offset: 0x000000000009fa88 faulting process id: 0xcac...
