Photoshop and Illustrator are Crashing Instantly and Buggy All of a Sudden

i'm not entirely sure what's happened, photoshop cc crashes within seconds of opening it. seems though illustrator cc having odd issues. after opening ai, seems though it's clicking. mouse continuously loading something. it's not adobe other programs, such indesign , audition, work fine (or issues aren't noticeable ps , ai). i've tried uninstalling , reinstalling both ps , ai no avail (albeit while saving preferences- i'm hoping keep "remove preferences" idea no-other-option move). restart of windows10 (education version) resulted no improvements. ps working last night @ 9 pm. began notice problem in ai @ around noon today (november 23). when began notice problems in ai, opened ps see going on there , met unfortunate crashes.

 

the thing changed within 9 pm yesterday , today, me installing filezilla , annoying add-on installed it; and, honest, i'm pretty sure installed filezilla , did work before opening ps @ 9.

 

the add-on came filezilla lavasoft's web companion. hadn't noticed until today when went task manager other reason. uninstalled/deleted of lavasoft's files hour or before first opened ai day , promptly noticed issues. lavasoft reason of this?

 

i've scoured web as possibly solutions seemed problems other mine. don't consider myself technologically illiterate; i've solved multiple problems aren't common or easy fixes, one's thrown me off lot. can't think of single thing that's gone wrong in time between last night , today cause other uninstalling lavasoft , doesn't seem shoulda/coulda/woulda affected ps or ai. hadn't shut laptop down either last night can't windows10 installed updates or anything.

 

if means anything, launching photoshop starts 3 instances of "adobe spaces helper" in task manager right before crashes. running illustrator starts half dozen dozen instances of "cep helper." beautiful internet says many instances of cep helper normal don't think i've found adobe spaces helper yet. throughout multiple instances of cep helper, 1 running more cpu usage (around 2-10% other ones below 1%). if kill high usage cep helper after opening illustrator, illustrator's problems solved; no more constant loading or perpetual clicking. haven't had chance same adobe spaces helper photoshop crashes way quickly.

 

my laptop's acer aspire v3-772g. i5-4210m nvidia 850m gtx, 8gb of ddr3 , 2gb of vram, , 2 500gb hard drives (one's @ 7200 , other's @ 5400rpm). don't think nvidia updated graphics drivers (nor did intel) in past week or so, wouldn't expect factor either.

 

this huge problem me have final projects due multiple courses semester , few projects @ work! possibly fixed without reinstalling windows10 or removing of preferences in adobe's products? i'm okay doing avoid options @ costs. have backup, don't think it's up-to-date set me far reinstall of windows10 would. maybe copy of adobe program files backup main hard drive? also, legit version of creative cloud i've received through university it's not these issues i'd have poorly cracked torrents. can help!

lavasoft cause issues photoshop. installed adaware. if uninstall photoshop should run ok.
