Animate (aka Flash) Freezes to a spinning wait ball

hi have huge body of work update or change every 4 years when licence expires.  happy using flash , stuck horriable new version. 

 

i using macs sierra version 10.12

2.8 ghz intel core i7

16 gb 1600 mhz ddr3

mac

with amd radeo r9 m370x 2048 mb intel iris pro 1536 mb

with dual screen

 

and can nothing in animate have recent version (but cannot tell version because frozen) oh wait let me adobe animate cc 2015.1 release build 15.1.0.210

 

when open old files previous version of flash freezes , give me spinning ball on , over.  not matter if reboot , reload same result.  when place mouse in workspace workspace scrolls around randomly , if lucky enough on symbol want edit can quick 2x click , open maybe simple change line color.  goes spinning ball. or double click on symbol , work space scrolls down out of site.  or maybe after 20 minutes of waiting can change line color try , bring symbol in , freeezes spinning ball again.

 

this frustrating , use animations on membership site , losing members daily because adobe forced me update.  happy flash needs simple nice little line drawings bit of animation nothing difficult.  now impossible use brand new $3000.00 computer.

 

i searched forums , thing found reset preferences did.  disaster.

animate new name flash professional.

 

you're on 15.1.0.210, rest of on 16.0.0.112, i'm not sure if make difference, worth updating.

 

i'm using macos 10.12.2, i'm ahead of you, not having animate problems.

 

do have flas can put online me try, see if opens without spinning cursor problems?
