External Speed Controller?

hello first post forum, sorry if has been covered somewhere else...

 

is possible use external controller vary clip speed in real time via knob or slider? here's i'm trying do...

 

i have sequence of clips shot out front of moving vehicle starting , stopping. trying smoothly alter speed of clips looks vehicle moving @ constant speed. instead of clicking , minutely adjusting key frames i'd able play sequence , use external controller vary playback speed in real time. ideally after effects able record controller input can go , tweak needed before rendering out final video. know mean?

 

does know of product work after effects allow me this?

or maybe work premiere (i post forum)?

or software?

or way achieve result i'm aiming for?

not possible. ae can play clips in realtime (if @ all), using native framerate , select formats nor there way create time-remapping keyframes on fly. it's inherent limitation of process - in order show modified result, ae needs re-render clip on , on again. pretty same in premiere. want can done specialized, expensive hardware it's used create realtime slomo on tv.
