Why is Lightroom So Painfully Slow?
i know why lightroom slow on computer when other programs, including photoshop, run quickly.
it hangs , freezes when doing simple things such scrolling through library (no matter how small catalog is), , it's worse when working in develop module. simple things moving photo photo take ages , making adjustments lags lot, when using local adjustments. spot removal tool 1 of worst, mouse jitters on place making frustrating use.
i have no idea causing this, have tried disabling gpu acceleration, tried different catalog sizes, tried using new user account on computer, overclocked cpu , has done little improve performance. i've tried using catalog on ssd , made no noticeable difference.
