How to automatically link all pages to renamed stylesheet with cache busting parameter?

this bugging me dreamweaver won't let automatically.

 

if try , rename stylesheet e.g style.css style.css?v=1 dreamweaver won't let add in ? character.

if rename outside of dreamweaver , use change links site wide function link pages cache busting css file style.css?v=1

it goes through process of saying pages updated dont update @ all.

 

i manually go each site page , change link stylesheet parameter thats time consuming, why isn't there automated way of doing dw? other web editors allow me change css file name parameter , update automatically... how can achieve in dw?

 

please me driving me insane!

instead of renaming files, if you're using php or similar, can use server side include (ssi) append rename css file in code?

 

then upload new include file when change query string , single file updates entire site.
