a bug that's officially driving me insane.   i have transparent clip on top of edit clip name effect rendering on it, set display sequence clip name. problem is, if change clip name in sequence, effect doesn't update display new name.   for while, in cc 2015.3 toggle effect layer's visibility , update, stopped working while back. hoping cc 2017 fix it, i'm still seeing bug in of projects, , can't find reliable way work around it, or information on bug online. problem seems in how clip reporting name, rather effect itself, since if move clip new layer , point effect layer, it'll still show layer's old name. same goes moving effect new layer. no matter do, still shows old clip name.   the workaround i've found:   1. update clip names 2. create second clip name effect on effects layer, pointing new, empty layer 3. put transparent clip on new layer 4. point new clip name @ new layer, rendering new layer's name (the name irrelevant, we're trying trigg...

something's been driving me crazy last few days; lightroom automatically detecting , applying correct lens profile in circumstances not others.  it's odd behaviour seemed intermittent i've worked out pattern. has been working fine months, changed last week.   i'm shooting canon 6d , sigma 12-24 ii dg hsm lens, shooting raw only.   on import, have preset automatically selects "enable profile corrections". noticed last week many of photographs showing "unable fins matching profile automatically". i've worked out in camera settings (p, av, tv, m etc) profile not read, when i'm shooting in custom setting set ages ago (which based on av) setting *is* recognised. (i've tested other lenses, , profile fine, it's lens specific on settings.   that's oddity one.   oddity 2 makes more frustrating: photographs haven't picked profile automatically, correct profile not available in list select manually! lightroom has profile, it's there ...

this photo rejected, reason said enhanced or modified me, hmmmmm took photo may 30th in council idaho @ hummingbird banding day, untouched photo have done no modification whatsoever, makes me question team reviewing these photos, sure there other sites accept it! agree have photo rejected too. did contrast bit , denoised it. dont consider if shoot on modes enhances photos in camera. nothing @ beleive should photos taken raw , not processed @ all. hi,   i've had adobe cs5.5 several years - firstly on old laptop , pc, wanted transfer new laptop (pc had died in between, new laptop access cs5.5).   i did 'deactivate permanently' thing remove on old laptop , went through installation process on new one, tells me serial number invalid. know isn't right because i'm entering right number , bought original product directly adobe (so no issue of potential bad/pirated copies here).   is there can solve without calling helplines? i had buy new computer tower, means had reload lightroom onto new computer - version 4 (4.4) in case.  seemed have lost of library raw data.  can live of because have raw files elsewhere, plus jpegs of finished collections.  main issue though, when try import raw files camera (nikon d750), 'preview not available' message on each photo/file.  know issue is?  thanks! the d750 not supported in lr 4, need @ least version 5.7. your options either upgrade lr 6 ($79), or subscribe creative cloud photography plan ($10 month) includes photoshop , lightroom, or use free dng converter convert raw files dng files can read lightroom 4. when press ctrl+g wont make "sub group" under head, make "turning head group". unless you're combing multiple files single puppet, you're better off doing grouping in ps or ai. ch beta 5 (released today!) better preserving changes across structure changes, make sure upgrade first.   also, doing structure changes (i.e. grouping changes) in ps/ai, you'll see same hierarchy in ch. grouping changes done in ch aren't reflected in .psd/.ai file. hello,   i beginner premiere pro user.  putting short video made series of still images strung together.  on of still images, have added text , notations.  images high quality , more large enough viewed on large projector screen.   the issue having export - no matter settings choose, can't seem export clear, crisp video.  images fuzzy , text illegible.  have scoured google , cannot come answer why is.  suggest way quality output use same video settings video imported - have no imported video, images.   thank time. post screenshot of export settings left tab open output , showing image. i installed cf 2016 standard on el capitan 10.11.6. once had cf installed installed os x server 5.2. tried installing os x server prior installing cf every time receive error when running connector after install. installing os x server after installing cf able connector run. os x server works apache. believe os x ties pre-packaged installation of apache included in el capitan not 100% sure.   the issue having when place .cfm files in root directory shows text rather running code. checked apache server.xml file , appears root directory default cf wwwroot. placed website files in root directory , still see text instead of running code.   i have full access cf admin panel, , can change settings, pretty sure installed ok.   i not real knowledgeable running terminal.   is connector issue? or there missing?   any appreciated! hi chad,   could please recreate connector , check again. i have software demo project works on pc, there several pages work poorly. when jump 1 of these pages on ipad, browser typically crashes.      one of problem pages slide on have 11 image-buttons.  (i using german captivate interface, not sure called in english.) these buttons placed on different fields in software. (when 'software', mean software recorded when making project.)  user can click on of these buttons , see information field.     anyway, have 11 of these customized buttons (made our own graphics), , when click on one, state/status changes "clicked" state/status, , of other buttons return "normal" state/status.  clicked state/status each button button plus smartshape text.   i have several of these type of slides in project, , if browser doesnt crash when user jumps slide, crashes after user cicks several, not of buttons.     i have tried use dev tools in chrome see going on , noticed browser simultaneously downloads large...

i'm making responsive project in captivate requires html animation (.oam file, built in adobe animate) on slide students can click through animation/movie. works fine on desktop, on mobile devices when click on 1 of buttons within animation highlights the entire bounding box (for lack of better term) of animation. there way rid of this?     thanks, keely if stumbles upon same issue , has question, found solution , it's super easy fix. go edit -> preferences -> recording -> modes , under 'mouse:' section there check box says "add highlight box on click" checked default. unchecked , published project again, tested in on iphone, , highlight box no longer there when using interactions in .oam animations!       keely More discussions in Adobe Captivate adobe

howdy. i've solved before it's been years , i've since forgotten how. i've come close finding answer in other posts not quite here's i'm trying do: create line drawings using pen tool set to- outline black, no fill. draw several individual lines want join create single object can fill color (pic 1 below). tried selecting of lines using pathfinder > merge didn't work tried pathfinder > unite didn't work. both resulted in pic 2 below. tried pathfinder > outline looks until fill color , gives me same result merge , unite. appreciated. in advance!   pic 1. individual lines positioned in desired shape want fill color. pic 2. same lines after pathfinder > merge. hey all!   i've been working on seemingly simple script force users check spelling when either save or export indesign document.   so far, i've managed spell checking action invoke before save/export action takes place. allows spell checking dialog popup before save/export dialog.   however, issue i'm facing save/export dialog pops after function runs pop spell checking dialog, user can't check spelling before saving or exporting.   i'm thinking need invoke spell checking action when document hasn't been spell checked, , tell save/export action cancel if spell checking action needs run, can't figure out best way script that.   any suggestions or kicks in right direction appreciated!   code far:   #targetengine "session"        main();    function main(){           alert('in progress v12');       var        beforesave = ...

i'm having issue when use drag resize brush intuos 5 pro small. when command, circle showing size of brush pop end having move pen distance before begins register. makes difficult make small changes brush size quickly. the issue isn't time based can move pen within small area of no-change long want , won't start change size of brush. any thoughts? i updated photoshop today (november 4th/ 2016) and have tried tablet on different computer , problem not present (that being brush size changes move pen amount)   windows 10 installed on both machines tried.   any great appreciated. it's small thing affects work flow , mental space when working. -allison are wacom setting same on machine tried? did try resresetting photoshop tool, user id  photoshop preferences , wacom configuration settings on machinte not working correctly?
