How do I get a REAL answer from Adobe support?


i spent 30 minutes in chat adobe "support" , not once did answer 2 simple questions:

 

1 - can embed fonts using acrobat dc standard subscription? and,

 

2 - if not, how can upgrade subscription purchased pro without having 2 subscriptions show on credit card?

 

30 minutes!!! no answer.

 

the worst "customer service" experience have ever had tech company. if see transcript of chat, glad share it.

i think can here.

 

the answer first question simple. yes, can embed fonts acrobat dc standard assuming use .joboptions request font embedding , secondly, fonts wish embed don't prohibit such embedding. (truetype , opentype fonts have flags within them control whether permitted embedded in pdf, eps, etc. files. fonts allow @ least preview , print embedding sufficient allow acrobat , other tools embed such fonts in newly created pdf files.)

 

the so-called chat facility cannot sales issue. , trying accomplish beyond provided on adobe web site. try calling adobe sales @ +1-800-915-9430 during normal business hours , should able readily assist in upgrading subscription no penalties or double-billing.
