step step of how create after effects montage:

 

 

1) import file- can select multiple files @ once highlighting them, no need multiple files 1 one redundant.

 

2) drag first clip want new composition button.

 

3) set timeline want, click on rest of clips want layers area.

 

4) highlight layers you’re working on right click it, click "assistance frame", click sequence layers.

i layers overlap few millisecond make video smoother @ end.

 

5) click on blank area in layers area (i'm click on little blank area next source file tab) , select layer want edit, double click it.

that take preview of specific layer want edit. slid area want crop/cut , hit - ctrl+shift+d, delete duplicate layer part wish cut out , repeat step 4 once you’re done cropping unwanted parts

 

6) link below time line in render area, make sure don’t have unnecessary areas sliding or down bar or clicking “b” beginning , “n” end.

once created render area lets go on render settings.

 

7) setting render speed , quality

 

a) while holding shift click on edit tab scroll down preferences , scroll general (repeat step twice)

the preferences window open new tab called “secret”   open secret tab , check 2 boxes & change purge every 2 seconds.

 

b) disable ram render (what disabling preview in composition area saving delicious ram), hit capslock once activate caps lock, once capslock  activated hit composition tab @ top , add clips render queue.

 

c) render quality –

click on best settings make sure quality set best , fps set 60 fps

click on lossless change format quicktime (if don’t have quick time here link quicktime, quality 100 if not there default, video codec h.264 (if don’t see h.264 means have install quicktime first , retry step)

audio output on “on” or “auto” 48 khz fine.

set output destination (i’d recommend not on desktop if operating system installed on ssd)

 

step 8&9 click render followed subscribe button channel j/k
