LR 6 (stand-alone) doesn't start after 6.6 update

hi,

 

with introduction of update 6.6 can't stand-alone (not cc) lightroom on 2012 macbook air start up. anything works fine, i.e. 6.5.1, 6.6 , doesn't work me. half second splash screen fires nothing more. have tested things find (turn off gpu, rename cache folders, ...) still haven't been able resolve situation. have done troubleshooting described in thread: lightroom 6 standalone not starting

the behavior far deterministic: works fine until 6.5.1 6.6. , doesn't work. have done several attempts of starting scratch (completely removed lightroom , started main 6 installation file) same thing happens.

 

i'm running latest sierra (10.12.1) had same problem when running various versions of el capitan (10.11) well.

update latest.  if still have problem, reset preferences - https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/help/setting-preferences-lightroom.html
