Unable to load Adobe Shockwave Player

i have tried past 2 days update player version no avail.  have used instructions given piece of software provided adobe, , still nothing.

 

what happens step 1, hit enter, , progress step 2, consists of 2 sections.  section on left complete, section on left consists of rectangle white background, , circle slash through it.  brings next button, takes me step 3, advertising supposedly free picture of wildly coloured girl on it.

 

i had return computer original factory settings when became unusable, becoming slow, browsing impossible.  have, past 3 days been downloading updated software can find microsoft, , various other software providers.  have updated adobe flash player without difficulty, when got shockwave player, progress stopped.

 

my system windows 7, internet explorer 11, updates through sp1.

 

maybe someone, above information provided, can figure out happening.  sounds blocking update attempts, cannot figure out what.  know norton av allowing me download these updates various providers without problem.  flash player update download successful.  can ask help!!!  caley ann

Adobe InDesign CC 2017 has stopped working

after installing indesign cc 2017 first time, when try launch application error "adobe indesign cc 2017 has stopped working" i have tried following: uninstalling , reinstalling indesign deleting files c:\users\<user>\appdata\roaming\adobe\indesign , c:\users\<user>\appdata\local\adobe\indesign i've uninstalled (i think) fonts had downloaded , installed restarted computer many times signed out of creative cloud , signed in   i able install , run on different computer i'm assuming there sort of conflict or missing component on computer.   computer details: processor intel core i7-4770k ram 16 gb os windows 10 pro ver. 1607 build: 14393.447 video card nvidia geforce gtx 970     this error windows event logs: faulting application name: indesign.exe, version: 12.0.0.81, time stamp: 0x57f545c7 faulting module name: appframework.rpln, version: 12.0.0.81, time stamp: 0x57f547eb exception code: 0xc0000005 fault offset: 0x000000000009fa88 faulting process id: 0xcac...
