The Basics

i organized bunch of clips, dropped them timeline , saved project.

 

before start editing, want see how long movie clips.  don't see tells me how long in minutes movie be?

 

also, render prompt keeps telling me render.  for.  do now, or when done editing?

 

does adobe premiere make changes original video clip files in way editing?

 

i want export dvd when done play on tv.

 

anything else on checklist should make simple movie?

there no simple answer question if premiere elements changes video. basic understanding of how program works see answers yourself.

 

for instance, if had avchd or smartphone video project , output dvd, video have gone high-def resolution 1920x1080 dvd resolution 720x480. has changed in final product won't high-def. however, beyond that, video should every bit original.

 

so it's put project , output it.
