Photoshop CC (2017) Will Not Start Directly but opens from Lightroom CC

i updated photoshop cc 2017 , after installation tried open program directly programs list , got following:

photoshop.exe - application error

the application unable start correctly (0xc000007b). click ok close application

 

i decided maybe restart needed , re-booted. noticed desktop icon old photoshop cc 2015 not correct , deleted , went explorer , added new photoshop cc 2017 program icon desktop. tried opening , got same message. tried opening via start/programs , via creative cloud , got same message. decided see if photoshop cc 2017 via lightroom. opened image in develop module (a developed tif file) , went photo/edit in/edit in adobe photoshop cc 2017 , selected edit original , photo opened up. clicked cancel and  tried opening dng file , opened. did check 'about' both images , showed 2017.0.0 release.

 

i tried opening cr2, dng , tif file directly explorer right clicking , choosing program open file selecting photoshop cc 2017 , none open , error message each try.

 

so why can't photoshop cc 2017 open file without going via lr?

 

running windows 7 ultimate service pack 1

intel core i7 920

12 gb ram

64 bit

could try repairing following microsoft visual c++ redistributables in control panel > program & features list , restart computer , try launching photoshop.

Adobe InDesign CC 2017 has stopped working

after installing indesign cc 2017 first time, when try launch application error "adobe indesign cc 2017 has stopped working" i have tried following: uninstalling , reinstalling indesign deleting files c:\users\<user>\appdata\roaming\adobe\indesign , c:\users\<user>\appdata\local\adobe\indesign i've uninstalled (i think) fonts had downloaded , installed restarted computer many times signed out of creative cloud , signed in   i able install , run on different computer i'm assuming there sort of conflict or missing component on computer.   computer details: processor intel core i7-4770k ram 16 gb os windows 10 pro ver. 1607 build: 14393.447 video card nvidia geforce gtx 970     this error windows event logs: faulting application name: indesign.exe, version: 12.0.0.81, time stamp: 0x57f545c7 faulting module name: appframework.rpln, version: 12.0.0.81, time stamp: 0x57f547eb exception code: 0xc0000005 fault offset: 0x000000000009fa88 faulting process id: 0xcac...

After Effects cc 2015 can’t continue: unexpected failure during application startup after installing OS El Capitan

hi guys   i had update os magic keyboard 2 work reason error after effects. all other cc 2015 programs still work fine.   error "after effects cc 2015 can’t continue: unexpected failure during application startup".   what easiest way fix it? have urgent deadlines need sorted.   thanks lot if upgraded mac os, it's have permissions problems. find library folder , adobe folder in there. set folder , of contained folders read/write. alternatively, rename adobeold or something. happen ae recreate folder proper permissions when launch ae again.   if that's not issue (and if is) should consider installing cc 2015.3 release or cc 2017 release of after effects , see how work you. has been improved initial cc 2015 release.
