Remove Develop settings in bridge

recently formatted hard drive & re-installed windows 7 professional 64 bit. re-installed photoshop cc 2015, bridge & camera raw. works fine except when want remove develop settings image in bridge ( edit>develop settings>clear settings) following error.

i have opened image in photoshop via camera raw, made adjustments in raw, opened image in photoshop & made adjustments & saved image.

i want go & save original image without raw adjustments & unable this.

is parent application photoshop or camera raw? have opened both of those.

any assistance appreciated.

i first try following:

 

troubleshoot adobe bridge errors , freezes

 

what file format file?

 

can create settings every slider/option @ 0 (double click on slider handle reset), apply “zeroed out” defaults? know not same totally removing settings…

 

if can’t via bridge… there adobe lightroom.

 

otherwise download exiftool, install , apply following command:

 

mac:

exiftool -xmp-crs:all= '/users/currentloggedinusername/path/to file.jpg'

 

win:

exiftool -xmp-crs:all= "c:\users\currentloggedinusername\path\to file.jpg"

 

 

note: these commands create edited duplicate file, renaming untouched original backup. adding cli switch originals can overwritten without creating backups. possible recursively scan subfolders, , or process specific file types , or exclude specific subfolders top level directory recursive scan.
