Lightroom does not update

i had posted once few days ago, got no helpful answer. - sorry re-post.

 

my current lightroom version 2015.6.1 won't update 2015.7.

the creative cloud application insists lightroom (and photoshop) versions date when check updates.

 

 

i have tried following:

force quit adobe applications , renamed oobe folders in these directories:

...\program files(x86)\common files\adobe\oobe

and

...\user\app data\local\adobe

restarted windows.

 

after creative cloud app refused start.

with consequence photoshop , lightroom won't start either.

 

so made renaming undo. fortunately, programs work again.

but can't update 2015.7 version...

 

(i tried these suggestions jimhess - no luck:

downloaded lr following website:

keeping lightroom up-to-date - incorrect version of lr

updated creative cloud application manager - did not either)

 

funny fact:

i got photoshop 2017 update today - not 1 lr... weird...

 

any ideas?

 

system: windows 10 64bit

only obvious things: remove lr completely, reboot, let cc app reinstall it.  can't imagine reinstall old version.  try signing out of cc app , signing in again.

Adobe InDesign CC 2017 has stopped working

after installing indesign cc 2017 first time, when try launch application error "adobe indesign cc 2017 has stopped working" i have tried following: uninstalling , reinstalling indesign deleting files c:\users\<user>\appdata\roaming\adobe\indesign , c:\users\<user>\appdata\local\adobe\indesign i've uninstalled (i think) fonts had downloaded , installed restarted computer many times signed out of creative cloud , signed in   i able install , run on different computer i'm assuming there sort of conflict or missing component on computer.   computer details: processor intel core i7-4770k ram 16 gb os windows 10 pro ver. 1607 build: 14393.447 video card nvidia geforce gtx 970     this error windows event logs: faulting application name: indesign.exe, version: 12.0.0.81, time stamp: 0x57f545c7 faulting module name: appframework.rpln, version: 12.0.0.81, time stamp: 0x57f547eb exception code: 0xc0000005 fault offset: 0x000000000009fa88 faulting process id: 0xcac...

After Effects cc 2015 can’t continue: unexpected failure during application startup after installing OS El Capitan

hi guys   i had update os magic keyboard 2 work reason error after effects. all other cc 2015 programs still work fine.   error "after effects cc 2015 can’t continue: unexpected failure during application startup".   what easiest way fix it? have urgent deadlines need sorted.   thanks lot if upgraded mac os, it's have permissions problems. find library folder , adobe folder in there. set folder , of contained folders read/write. alternatively, rename adobeold or something. happen ae recreate folder proper permissions when launch ae again.   if that's not issue (and if is) should consider installing cc 2015.3 release or cc 2017 release of after effects , see how work you. has been improved initial cc 2015 release.
