Advice needed: Lightroom mobile and traveling workflow

hi,

i looking advice hardware , doable option.

i have light room setup on computer @ home, editing/panorama etc done there.

 

while traveling, able store photos out of sd card , start lightroom workflow (keywords selection etc).

 

a windows tablet would:

1 - on expensive need for.

2- force me create new lightroom catalog , merge them

3- allow me metadata.

4- slow display , hard read tiny little font of metadata.

 

an android tablet would

1- better price/performance/portability job

2- no need deal merging catalog

3- cannot add metadata photos -> useless

 

 

i hoping an:

- 8-10 inch device, battery, keyboard plus, around 200$ (i looking @ nvidia shield it's high perf price)

- system copy sd sdd (cheapest way + ssd price) (was looking @ wd passport or ravpower solution)

 

any advice on equipment?

 

also:

i know lightroom mobile make copy of imported file sd card, can make copy external hdd.

for raw imported on lightroom mobile, app upload full file cloud , sync smart preview (as desktop->mobile) or try sync whole big huge file ever on internet?

does sync work on private network dropbox does?

 

probably easy questions, me logical feature have, can find old post first release of lightroom mobile on apple. , havent used lightroom mobile.

ps: @ moment have cheap chinese tablet (chuwi hi8pro) removed windows because impossible use low spec, , android ok haven't tried lightroom mobile on (also it's old android 4.4).

i have used lightroom mobile on phone only, still havent sync desktop.

can't on hardware front unfortunately.

 

when photos imported lightroom mobile sync full resolution cloud (you can set 3g or wifi) sync full res again down lightroom desktop when logged in.

 

once in cloud, files on mobile device believe optimised reduce space take up.

 

on apple ios @ least photos locked in app. don't know if on android can access file system assume ios. won't copy external disk doesn't work desktop version.

 

also can't sync on local network.

 

this has been requested though. other requests , more info go 2 lightroom mobile forums (the user user 1 , photoshop family 1 read adobe).
