Responsive Site Issues

hi everybody,

 

i pretty new muse , have been working few months. have been using other adobe products years now, product there learning curve. i've had issues never having developed site before, of pretty simple concepts still seem need grasp on. 1 thing looking @ newly added responsive site.

 

i wondering if beneficial use style vs. creating full site , adding in tablet , phone layouts. reason ask because went responsive. however, seems keep running across issues such resizing of browser , checking on different devices.

 

one thing not quite understanding, , have looked through other forums, responsive site, things dont scale properly. i've read compositions , native widgets don't naturally have these built in , can run in issues. know have create different breakpoints let program code specific devices, have 1 tablet , iphone 5s check on. have used chrome , checked in browser using inspect, find text ends squishing in box unless long enough, text sizes don't shrink, , if put on iphone, when zoom in, menu button , header don't scale , overlapping , squishing text in box.

 

i assuming need not have responsive width on there, if case, why make responsive site if these items aren't going act responsively? have run issues have composition text drops down more text evenly spaced, when resize browser begin drift apart.

 

one last question: how many different breakpoints should make? more seems create lot more work because if change in 1 throws off in others. if make couple, how translate between different devices?

 

if check out still in beginning stages, can idea of things referring to.

also, clarify 1 of issues of break points: if within breakpoint, 968, slideshow arrows don't scale properly. i'm assuming because have set size in breakpoint, in reality yhe screen dimensions somewhere between 968 , next smaller breakpoint. think try scale, doesn't seem case.
