animating a character for Muse

hi all,

i designing website nutritionist features zen orange in logo.  goal have orange walk across top of logo, squish its' waist area in around hips jump down position (the position letter "o" in logo).  walking zen orange have eyes , mouth, arms/hands, , legs/feet.

i going through many tutorials on lynda.com , on youtube.  if can offer guidance how should approach it, tweens, layers, paths, etc.  appreciate help.  animation start shortly after site loads whenever go home page.  insert screenshot of home page , quick mockup of orange (i pasted arms legs eyes , lips find.  using illustrator real character).

 

 

 

 

the zen orange appear off page on left , walk fancily across "nutrition every-body" before pauses near letter "b" , squishes in hips hour glass before lets go , jumps , falls plasce "o".  going put hands on hips , squish center of body orange looks "hour glass"

 

is going put hands on hips , squish center of body orange looks "hour glass".  let go , return shape of orange jumps , drops "o" in word "every-body".  arms, legs, eyes , lips disappear when lands , becomes half of orange  "o" in logo.

there animators here might step in general advice, performance reasons there couple of things know about, assuming you're planning on being html5 banner.

 

there 2 types of tween movement, motion tween , classic tween. html5 motion tween can lead bigger file , worse performance.

 

similarly, classic tween there easing value, if set value of -100 +100, works well. but, if go graph of tween , adjust that, custom easing, make bigger file performs worse.

 

so, use classic tweens , enter number in properties panel set amount of easing.

 

there code solutions let have more complex tweens without losing performance, if can i've described save time figuring out code solutions.
