Delay in responding to incorrect clicks in Assessed part of video

hi - hope can me issue drives me (and people use e-learning package's have created captivate) crazy!

 

basically, have series of captivates have demo video, followed training video user interacts video isn't assessed, followed same video assessment clicks built in.

 

my issue applies assessment video - when learner clicks in wrong place caption appears pointing should have clicked (as in preceding training (non-assessed) video). in assessed video there noticeable delay before users actual mouse click - may second frustrating build when someone  keeps clicking in wrong place , when doesn't happen in training video)

 

so example, user has click in checkbox incorrectly click in checkbox b. caption appear pointing checkbox saying e.g. "click in box". if user clicks in checkbox there delay when nothing happens (about 1 second) before video responds click

 

i hoping simple setting somewhere can change colleagues , can't find if is

 

we use captivate 8 have used older versions , still have same problem

does when have scorm reporting turned off , testing locally, or when delivering same content lms?
