Batch Processing Saving to Wrong Folder

hi,

 

i'm resizing images , saving lower resolution , quality web. it's few hundred images spread across 13 source folders. batching 1 source folder @ time. when run batch, files saving wrong destination folder. images .jpg.

 

when recorded action:

i set resolution, resized image, , did: file > export > save web (legacy).

in save web window, set quality , metadata. selected new folder save didn't override original.

 

when run batch, following:

file > automate > batch

i select set , corresponding action want.

in source, select folder choose folder has original images. none of boxes checked, , it's set stop errors.

in destination, select folder choose folder want save images to. select checkbox 'override action "save as" commands'.

in file naming, have document name in first field, additional text in second field, , extension in third field.

when click "ok", action runs. images edited correctly (right size, image quality, , metadata), saved in destination folder selected when recording action , file name isn't changed.

 

shouldn't 'override action "save as" commands' checkbox override file name , destination folder selected when recording action?

 

i've tried without 'override action "save as" commands' box checked. without box checked , else same, images saved correct resolution , size. saved correct destination folder correct file name, not saved correct quality or metadata.

 

i'd appreciate this. i'm wondering if may bug in photoshop...

photoshop cc (2017)

macbook air

os x el capitan version 10.11.6

the reason since save web old export plugin, images saved folder specified when using save web. it's not bug in photoshop.

 

file>automate>batch doesn't override location save web saved to.

 

so when using save web in action, make sure folder specified in save web 1 want save in action.
