i on 27" imac, (2.9 ghz intel core i5, 24gb 1600 mhz ddr3) upgraded macos sierra, although have had issue 3-4 operating systems before this. use creative cloud , keep indesign date.

i took computer technician in january (for issue) , asked length of time takes open indesign, , told software issue , couldn't anything.

it takes long if i've shut down or restarted computer, not if i've quit programme.

i have posted on forum before , suggested uninstall , reinstall indesign - did didn't help

i told restore preferences did , didn't help.

it suggested create new user on computer , try launching indesign. did , indesign took 4 minutes open.

so i'm not sure now. mean , do fix problem using own user?

this has been issue me more year , it's frustrating, i'd appreciate help.

did uninstall indesign via creative cloud app, , did run adobe cleaner before reinstalling indesign?

do have indesign plug-ins or font manager utility installed ?
