Audio sync issue with Premiere file in After Effects - Audio cuts out.

i've imported premiere pro file after effects. pp file video footage, voice over, , music in background. has been going fine, , i've exported several times, no problems. now, of sudden, there 10 seconds in middle video , voice-over continue normal, music cuts out abruptly , re-starts again. haven't done file think cause this. haven't changed audio levels, or moved timeline, or that.

 

the weird thing is, plays fine in premiere. there no issue in pp audio whatsoever. in ae. i've closed , re-opened ae dozen times. i've resaved & relinked pp file. thought might issue playback in ae, when export it, it's still there.

 

how can audio perfect in pp have issue in ae? if there issue audio in ae, (i.e. volume keyframed turn off,) wouldn't able hear v/o either same file.

what missing?

perhaps presence of mp3 files in pp.  consistently-proper functioning apparently hit-and-miss there in ae.  use audition convert them wav or aiff.
