Adobe Stays open after quick print

good afternoon,

 

we have user having minor annoying issue. user uses outlook day receiving invoices etc. user has had issue when right click , quick print on pdf attachment. adobe reader stays open , have manually close able open next one.

 

this user out of 175 users having issue , has been having sometime. users operate on windows 2012 r2 rdp environment. have scoured unable find solution other register change if possible want avoid. appreciated, rather frustrating user.

could please confirm version of adobe reader has installed on computer? or has tried installing latest update of application?

if not, then-

please open acrobat or reader dc , visit > check updates make sure on latest patch.

and if has latest patch installed, please try steps mentioned below (as workaround)

• right click on task bar , open task manager
• under processes> select adobe (reader) processes , end task

sometimes application stuck , runs @ background, if close or reboot computer.

• try print document again , check if reader stuck again.
