Error: Check Activation - One book only

i ordered dsm-5 ebook appi.org 6 months ago. worked while until had upgrade windows 10. deleted book because wouldn't open in digital editions, , figured needed redownload had kindle books. redownloaded digital editions, , redownloaded dsm-5. digital editions works free ebook downloads, when download dsm , try open digital editions, messages says "error: check activation." called customer service appi.org. lady gave me new digital ebook free of charge, had same problem. dished out $124 buy one, , still not open--but free ebooks same website open fine in digital editions. tried hit "add library" scan files , pull downloaded ebook in way, when did that, digital ebook file in download folder (yes, i'm looking in right place) did not show up.

 

i looked @ format of file i'm downloading, , says "adobe content server message" not book @ all???

 

my digital editions has authenticated computer, isn't asking me reenter id or anything, it's 1 book not open, , need class--not mention career! i'm visually impaired student , can't read hard copy of book. need fixed asap.

this seems issue ebook provider side since happens specific ebook. may have contact them again , see if fix on fulfillment server side.

Adobe InDesign CC 2017 has stopped working

after installing indesign cc 2017 first time, when try launch application error "adobe indesign cc 2017 has stopped working" i have tried following: uninstalling , reinstalling indesign deleting files c:\users\<user>\appdata\roaming\adobe\indesign , c:\users\<user>\appdata\local\adobe\indesign i've uninstalled (i think) fonts had downloaded , installed restarted computer many times signed out of creative cloud , signed in   i able install , run on different computer i'm assuming there sort of conflict or missing component on computer.   computer details: processor intel core i7-4770k ram 16 gb os windows 10 pro ver. 1607 build: 14393.447 video card nvidia geforce gtx 970     this error windows event logs: faulting application name: indesign.exe, version: 12.0.0.81, time stamp: 0x57f545c7 faulting module name: appframework.rpln, version: 12.0.0.81, time stamp: 0x57f547eb exception code: 0xc0000005 fault offset: 0x000000000009fa88 faulting process id: 0xcac...
